Inspiring *CCMC 182*

The inspiration for this card comes from this weeks challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary.  Here's the sketch......
Create Sketches Portrait-015
I had seen some cards over on Splitcoaststampers a few weeks ago using a similar color combo to this one and just loved them all.  I love the softness of the colors together and feel like they lend themselves to a vintage sort of theme.  I added some of the "coffee splatters" from the French Foliage set and sponging to the main panel to make it feel older.  I also crumpled up the flowers and sponged those for the same effect.

Here's the list of supplies I used with this card.....
Stamps: Perfect Words, French Foliage
Paper: Pear Pizzaz, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Vanilla and Newsprint DP
Ink: Soft Suede, Pear Pizzaz, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Blossom Party die, Antique Brad, Lace Ribbon Border punch
