Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's last catalog case for June.  It sure has been fun having a month of card casing!  We'll go back to alternating color and sketch challenges in July.
I couldn't wait to try out the new set called Tropical Chic.  I just love the cooridianating DSP called Tropical Escape.  The patterns and colors are so luscious!

Love Never Gives Up ~ CCMC515

Hello stampers!  It's our third Create with Connie and Mary challenge of June already....can you believe it???  Wow, where did June go?  We are continuing with our case the catalog them and this week our case comes from page 52.
I chose to go with the very pretty paper from Share What You Love DSP.  This paper pack has so many beautiful patterns with a wide variety of colors.  I thought these papers coordinated nicely.
My sentiment comes from the Waterfront set.  I'm giving this away as an anniversary card.
I was also able to sneak in some new ribbons.  The Rich Razzleberry  velvet ribbon is so rich and luxurious feeling and the Mesh Polka Dot is so fresh and fun.

Here's a list of my supplies...
Stamps: Waterfront
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Black, Share What You Love DSP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: circle punches, basic rhinestones, Mesh Polka Dot ribbon, Velvet Ribbon, Tufted EF

I hope you'll be able to join us for this week's challenge!
Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Very Fresh Vintage ~ HSS292, AYSI178, GDP143

Hey stampers!  Hand Stamped Sentiments is back today with a brand new sketch challenge designed by Elizabeth!
I went with a brand new hostess set from the new Stampin' Up catalog called Very Vintage.  This set caught my eye right away when I flipped through the catalog for the first time.
My card isn't exactly like the sketch, but I do have all the circles represented by the distressed doilies and the punched label.
I also used three new colors here ~ Gray Granite, Petal Pink, and Grapefruit Grove.  The Tufted embossing folder is a new item as well and I think it's going to be well loved by me! Because I used so many new "fresh" products I'm joining in the As You See It #178 Fresh theme
I'm also sharing my card in the Global Design Project Love it-Live it-Share it challenge 143, because as I just mentioned how much I love the tufted folder and it might just be one of my favorite things from the new catalog.

Here's a list of my supplies:
Stamps: Very Vintage
Paper: Petal Pink, Gray Granite, Grapefruit Grove, Very Vanilla
Ink: Petal Pink, Gray Granite, Versamark
Accessories: Tufted EF, Gold EP, Gold Faceted gems, Gold thread, Lace trim

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Nashville Sky ~ CCMC514, J1318

Hey there stampers and friends!  This week at Create with Connie and Mary we continue with our CASE the Catalog month and our card comes from page 5 of the new catalog.
I'm also using the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge from The House that Stamps Built.  I chose the middle column for Masculine/Embossing/Background wash.
You may be looking at my card and thinking, what in the world is that stamp???  Well, there's a little story behind my card.  My little brother Nick is a real estate agent in Nashville, TN and deals with apartment leasing.  He commissioned me to make some thank you cards for his special clients.  We both decided it would be fun to do something relating to the Nashville skyline, so I did some research and saw some cityscape cards made using the straight line stamp from our Waterfront set.
For this card I wanted to try the emboss resist technique, so I stamped my city in white craft ink on watercolor paper and then embossed it with white embossing powder.  I misted the entire piece with water before I added the ink with my aquapainter.  I used shades of aqua and blue (Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, and Night of Navy) since my brother likes those colors.  After I had the colors the way I wanted them I mixed up a bit of tombo glue and water in an old embellishment lid, picked some up with my aquapainter and flicked it onto the main panel.  I sprinkled it with silver glitter and set it aside to dry.  In the mean time I embossed the Night of Navy card base with my Brick embossing folder (retired).  I think the brick goes good with the city building theme.  To make sure this looks like the Nashville city skyline I used my white gel pen to add the spires to the tall building, making it look like the Batman building which is so distinctly Nashville.
I backed the main panel with a bit of white and then set it off with some Bermuda Bay.  The Tailored Tag punched thank you sentiment definitely needed to be included to make this a good CASE.  I backed it with a bit of circled silver thread which ties together with the silver glitter speckles.

I'm excited to experiment a little more with this skyline and play around with a few more techniques and colors for some of the other cards I'm making for him.
So, if you are needing to find an apartment in Nashville, TN look my brother, Nick Holte, up at Nashville Apartment Locators and he can fix you up!

New Catalog Case ~ CCMC513, WWC173, Fusion

Hello Stampers!  It's our first Create with Connie and Mary challenge for June and this whole month will be dedicated to casing the brand new catalog!  It's gonna be fun!  Our first CASE comes from page 48 in the 2018-2019 Catalog.
Before I started working on my card I HAD to clean up my desk!  It was long, long overdue.  You probably know what I'm talking about and can relate!  I had lots of peices of cardstock laying around and as I began cleaning I ran across a piece of white cardstock that already had these bird and roses images stamped and colored!  Jackpot!  I also found the bit of Smokey Slate in my pile.  I grabbed some Powder Pink for my base, a bit more of white run through the Big Shot with the Basket weave TEF for the background, a scrap of Old Olive for my cut-out square and voila'!  My card was practically done!  I added a little bit of silver trimmed white ribbon and a faceted button and it was complete.

I'm also adding my card to Watercooler Wednesday 173 feminine Anything goes challenge and Fusion Floral Cupcake challenge.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Starfish Collage ~ HSS291, JUGS443, RRCB88

Hello Stampers!  Welcome to another challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments!  We've got an inspiration challenge for you this time, which are among my faves!  One of our designers has chosen this cool ocean collage to be inspired by.
I'm also sharing my cared in Just Us Girls "Outside" challenge #443
I picked out the coral starfish to be the main "star" (haha) of my card.  I think just about every stamp I used on my card is retired and because of that I'm joining the Retro Rubber "Anything Goes" challenge #88.  The one new thing on here is the orange/coral color.  It's one of the new in-colors called Grapefruit Grove.  I toned it down a little bit by sponging it with Crumb Cake.

Thanks for taking a peek and I hope you'll be able to join us in this week's challenge!
