Enjoy Today ~ CCMC552, GDP180

Good Morning stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new sketch challenge #552.  I've also been inspired by the Case The Designer challenge #180 at Global Design Project.  I loved the colors and floral theme that Stesha Bloodhart used on her card, so that's the direction I went in!

I spritzed the main panel with shimmer paint/alcohol mix.  I was trying to capture the sparkle, but it's tough to get a good photo.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Eastern Beauty, Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Ink: Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, black
Paper: Mango Melody brights DSP, Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick foil, Black, White
Accessories: In color pearls, Decorative border ribbon punch, Rectangle stitched framelits

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Birthday Card for Mom ~ CCMC551, CTC218, PP431

Hello stampers!  Today's card shows off a lovely color palette brought to you by the latest color challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  For my card layout, I played along with Caseing The Catty Challenge #218.  I cased a card from the center section of the newest Sale-a-bration flyer.  I'm also playing along with the Paper Players spring fever challenge #431.

No photo description available.

It was my mom's birthday recently so this card went to her.  She loves flowers, so this was perfect for her!
If you look closely, the Fresh Fig panel has a fun technique applied to it.  I inked up the flat side of the Country Floral TIEF with Fresh Fig ink and laid my card stock on it.  When I ran it through the big shot, the ink transfered to the depressed areas, making the background a little darker than the raised portions of the paper.  It really is a lovely look and gives such dimension!

Here's a picture of the card I cased.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Needle and Thread, Beautiful Day
Ink: Fresh Fig, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink
Paper: Very Vanilla, Fresh Fig, Mossy Meadow
Accessories: Needlepoint elements framelits, Gold faceted gems, Country Floral TIEF

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Beautiful Cactus ~ CCMC547, GDP175, CTC214

Hi there stampers!  Today's card is another fabulous, fun Flowering Desert card for the latest Create with Connie and Mary color challenge.  I'm really, really loving these bright colors matched up with this set.

No photo description available.

I also used the garden path inspiration from Global Design Project #175, and I case'd this card from the Sale-a-bration catalog for Caseing the Catty #214

I'd like to point out the stitched detail on the top and bottom of the main panel.  That was accomplished with one of the impressions dies from Needlepoint Elements Framelits.  I love that little detail.  I also added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the pink flowers.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Flowering Desert
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo

Stuck on you for 25 Years! GDP175, PP427, SS549, JUGS473

Hello stampers!  Today's card is one I made for my Husband for our anniversary.  We will be celebrating 25 years of marriage in just one week!
I had the idea to use the Flowering Desert cactus and stamp them in a heart shape and then add little hearts on top to mimic the flowers that these kinds of cactus tend to grow.  I think it turned out so cute!
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday, and also the themes from Global Design Project, The Paper Players, and Just Us Girls

I didn't have any stamps that already said "Stuck on You", so I used Make a Difference photopolymer stamp set to stamp STUCK ON and the YOU from Work of Art.  The little heart comes from another retired set called Best Day Ever.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Flowering Desert, Make a Difference, Work of Art
Ink: Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Sahara Sand, Real Red
Paper: Stacked with Love DSP (retired), Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Glimmer Enamel Dots, Rectangle Stitched Framelits, Linen Thread
