Navy Very Vintage ~ CCMC556, PP436

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for our newest challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary.  This week is sketch week.  I also used a little inspiration from The Paper Players 436 Plaid or Checks.  I didn't see until right now as I type this out that the plaid was supposed to be the focus of your project.  Mine's just a little accent, but I like it anyway!  I was set on using my Very Vintage set to make a vintage style card this week.
It's hard to see in the photo, but I sponged the Sahara Sand background piece with Crumb Cake ink after I embossed it with the Tin Tile TIEF.  I also rubbed a little bit of my Champagne Shimmer paint over it as well for extra shimmer.  After I stamped the main panel, I spritzed it with Champagne Shimmer spritz.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Very Vintage
Ink: Crumb Cake, Night of Navy
Paper: Night of Navy, Sahara Sand
Accessories: 1" circle punch, Navy Gingham ribbon, Tin Tile TEIF, pearls, Champagne Shimmer paint

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
Jenny

  1. Love the antique feel of your card and that little bit of check ribbon adds an extra color and texture to it. Thank you for playing along with the theme challenge this week over at The Paper Players!

  2. This is VERY pretty, Jenny! I love the vintage feel you created....the colors are divine, especially with that pretty gingham ribbon (my favorite stuff!). The embossing adds such a nice touch! Thanks for playing with my Paper Players challenge this week!
