Rococo Wild Rose ~ CCMC566

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new sketch challenge.  I was able to play with a few of my new goodies like this beautiful To A Wild Rose stamp set, the beautiful new  In Color Rococo Rose, which looks fabulous with Soft Sea Foam by the way, and the coordinating In Color DSP.
I thought the script DSP and the Tufted embossing folder looked pretty elegant together.
This card came together in a snap mostly because the flower really packs a punch with all the "texture" incorporated into the stamps themselves.  One flower and a few leaves goes a long way!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: To A Wild Rose
Ink: Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake
Paper: Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam, White, Rococo Rose DSP
Accessories: Tufted EF, Polka Dot tulle ribbon

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Summer Lemonade ~ HSS317, PP446, FF0036

Hello stampers!  Today's card comes by way of Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch for the month of June.  My card was helped along with inspiration from The Paper Players Summer Beverage challenge, and Festive Friday 4th of July or Summer challenge.  I think nothing says summer more than a nice, ice cold glass of fresh lemonade!
I started my card off by sponging Pineapple Punch onto my die cut glass.  I masked the rim, leaving it white.  I added the cute little ice cubes fussy cut from embossed white vellum.  I love the striped straw as well, stamped in Poppy Parade.  And then I couldn't resist using the cute little die cut tag stamped with "hi" and tied on with some silver twist bakers twine.
The DSP is some old, old Poppy Parade from way back when it was an In Color.  The black and white piece is from Tropical Escape.
Pretty much everything I used on this card is now retired except the Pineapple Punch cardstock!

Yellow Free Bird ~ CCMC565, FabFri165, SUOC225

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's latest color challenge featuring Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, and Daffodil Delight.  I was excited to us Free As A Bird from the new Annual Catalog.  I stamped it on watercolor paper and watercolored with my aqua painter and ink pads.  It was so fun!  I cut the scene out using the fabulous new Stitched Nested Labels die and for that reason I'm sharing my card to the Stampin Up Only Challenge 225-die cutting.  I used the fun sketch from Fab Friday 165 to help me create my card as well.

If you look really, really close at the photo below you can see that I sprayed the die cut panel with shimmer spray after it was all watercolored.  I just love the way this looks!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Free As A Bird
Ink: Stazon, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow
Paper: White, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, Watercolor, Gingham DSP
Accessories: Linen Thread, Shimmer Spray, Basket Weave EF

Happy Place Happy Couple ~ CCMC564, CTCC231

Hi stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new sketch challenge.  I'm playing along with Casing The Catty as well.  The challenge there was to case anything in the retiring catalog, so I chose the Waterfront card on page 148.  I tried to use similar colors but used a different layout of course!

Miami Vice Palms ~ HSS316, Fusion Rainbow Birds, PP444

Hey Stampers!  It's time for another challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments.....a photo inspiration challenge!
I decided to go with the palm trees in the left bottom corner as my jumping off point.  I also used the inspiration and sketch from Fusion Card Challenge - Rainbow birds.  And lastly, I took the Summer Vacation theme from The Paper Players #444.
Who remembers the 80's and the bright pastels of Miami Vice?  That's exactly what these palm trees reminded me of once my card was complete.  I even used a retired embossing folder called Tiny Triangles.  The triangles reminded me of the 80's as well.  I grew up in the 80's so I'm really loving the nostalgia I'm getting from this fun card!
The skinny sentiment strip is stamped with a sentiment from Home To Roost and is popped up with dimensionals.  I feel like the sentiment font could go a little 80's as well...perfect for the Miami Vice palm trees!

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Waterfront, Home to Roost
Ink: Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: White, Flirty Flamingo, Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana
Accessories: Tiny Triangles EF, Iridescent Sequins

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
