Nature's Rustic Fox ~ HSS324, SSC214

Hey there stampers!  Today's card is my design team card for Hand Stamped Sentiments newest color challenge featuring four colors!  They are Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron, Terracotta Tile, and Grapefruit Grove.  I recently placed and order and received my new Nature's Beauty set.  I love the images in this set and thought the fox would be fun to color using these colors.  I made this pretty little fall scene by watercoloring using only the challege colors plus Soft Suede as my neutral.  I love the versatility of watercoloring....you can make the colors as soft or as saturated as you want!
I used the sketch from Sunday Stamps Challenge to help me create my scene.
I stamped the Soft Suede background with my Birch background stamp using Soft Suede ink.  The scene if finished with a sentiment from Rustic Retreat backed with some coiled linen thread.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Nature's Beauty, Rustic Retreat, Birch
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron, Terracotta Tile, Grapefruit Grove, Soft Suede, and Stazon Black
Paper: Watercolor, Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron, Soft Suede
Accessories: Linen Thread

We hope you'll be able to join us over at Hand Stamped Sentiments for our latest challenge!
Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Two Daisies ~ CCMC579, GDP207, AYSI209

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is my design team card for Create with Connie and Mary's new color challenge.  Aren't these colors just yummy???  I certainly think so!  I played around with the no line watercoloring technique to make these fun daisies.  Daisies happen to be one of my favorite flowers and I love the ease of the Daisy punch which leads me to another challenge I'm participating in...As You See It favorite punch or die.  The daisies also allow me to play with Global Design Project's Bloom and Grow challenge.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Rich Painted Harvest ~ CCMC578, PP458

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is my design team card for the new sketch at Create with Connie and Mary.  I've also incorporated the colors from the Paper Players #458.  They are so rich!  I decided to go with the beautiful Painted Harvest sunflower.  I stamped it first in Cajun Craze and then in Merry Merlot.  The center of the flower is Soft Suede with some Early Espresso dots.  The leaves of course are Pretty Peacock.
I stamped the background piece of Merry Merlot with the Buffalo Check plaid stamp in Merry Merlot ink.. The strip of Cajun Craze is embossed with my Subtle EF.  I added some bits of copper foil paper putting a little strip under the Cajun Craze piece and the sentiment piece.  I also added some copper leaves punched from my leaf punch.
This card is going to a good friend of mine that is just beginning her fight against cancer.  She WILL WIN!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
