Fall Bloom and Grow ~ CCMC585, PP465

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new color challenge.  While these colors are kinda "halloween-ish" I chose to go with a beautiful floral combination using the Bloom and Grow stamp set and coordinating Budding Blooms dies.  I used the sketch from The Paper Players #465 to help me along with my design team card.
I stamped the flower image in versamark ink and embossed it with black embossing powder on watercolor paper.  I watercolored the image using my aquapainter and ink pads by squeazing the ink into the lid of the pad container and picking up the ink from there.
The black panel the floral image is perched upon is embossed with my Country Floral EF.
The light colored horizontal strip is a scrap of Wood Textures DSP and the background piece is from the In-Color DSP pack.

I hope you'll join us in this great color challenge!  Just upload your image on the Create with Connie and Mary Facebook page.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
Jenny

  1. I like your mix of Terracotta with Pumpkin for the color...love the flowers popped on the black texture, too. Sweet card! Thanks for playing along over at The Paper Players this week!
