Sparkle Spuce and Holly ~ CCMC589, CASCS349

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create With Connie and Mary's new color challenge.  Our colors this week are Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Shaded Spruce.  I also used the sketch from CAS Colours and Sketches Challenge #349 to help me along with my design team card.
I used the spruce sprigs from Peaceful Boughs to create my background panel.  After I stamped it on Shaded Spruce cardstock, I ran it through the Big Shot with my Subtle EF.  I stamped the "Deck the Halls" stamp from Christmas Gleaming in real red and also stamped the "splatters" in Coastal Cabana on my main panel of Whisper White.  I layered it on a Gold Foil piece for some added shine.  I colored the holly stamp from Christmas Gleaming with my Light Bermuda Bay Blends marker, and Dark and Light Shaded Spruce, and also the Light and dark Real Red.  I fussy cut them out and adhered them around the main panel.  I added a few Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to the main panel and also added some Ice Stampin' Glitter to the holly leaves for extra shimmer and sparkle!
The whole thing is layered on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and then layerd on a base of white.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Peaceful Season's Greetings ~ CCMC588, CTC255

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's Thursday Sketch Challenge.  I also used Casing The Catty's Color Case Challenge #255.  The colors I went with are Night of Navy, Old Olive Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, and Crushed Curry.

No photo description available.

I started off with my new Peaceful Boughs stamp set.  I'm a little late to the party with this one.....every year I tell myself that I'm only gonna get one or two new Christmas stamp sets....then I see all the samples made with them and end up buying more.  This was one of those sets. I love the coordinating dies too.
Anyway, I stamped the boughs on a stitched white circle and colored them in with my Dark Old Olive and Bronze blends.  I lightly sponged night of  navy around the boughs.  I stamped a couple of pine cones on scrap white and colored them with blends as well.  First the dark Daffodil Delight, then filled the shadows with Bronze, then added the light Crumb Cake over all.  After I cut them out with the die, I lightly sponged the whole thing with So Saffron.
I then cut a Beautiful Boughs die from vellum cardstock, colored on the back of the vellum with my Old Olive Blend marker and then added some Ice Stampin' Glitter to the front.  I think this is SO BEAUTIFUL!  I layered that piece under my circle panel.
For the background panel, I used the largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut out a piece of Night of Navy, sponged Night of Navy ink around the outside and stamped it with the "snowflakes" in Craft White ink.  Some Cherry Cobbler accents and the sentiment finish my card off!

Chunky Sparkle Rustic Snowflake ~ HSS328

Hello stampers! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments new Photo Inspiration challenge. I took inspiration from the wooden star and the decorated Christmas tree photos.
I started out with a large diecut snowflake from Snowflake Showcase.  I sprayed it with spray adhesive and sprinkled it with ice stampin glitter. I just love the look of this! Next, I adhered two sprigs of diecut evergreen boughs and then an older retired wooden snowflake. I topped it all of with some vintage gingham real red ribbon. The whole thing is layered on a piece of wood textures DSP.
The sentiment is embossed in white and is from the retired Wonderland stamp set.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Tissue Paper Technique Wedding ~ CCMC587, CC123

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's latest color challenge featuring Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock, and Crumb Cake.  I also used the inspiration from The Card Concept #123 to help me along.
I used a really fun tissue paper technique but I'm not exactly sure of the name of it, so I'll explain what I did.
I stamped the flowers and leaves from Beautiful Friendship on a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of whisper white cardstock.
After I was satisfied with the composition of my flowers I sprayed the entire sheet with spray adhesive.  I placed a piece of white tissue paper (cut a little bigger than my whisper white sheet) that I had crumpled up and then spread back out, over my stamped image and smoothed it down, keeping some of the wrinkles intact.
After the tissue paper was adhered, I trimmed the edges and spritzed the entire piece with Champagne Shimmer paint spritz.

I matted my main image with Cajun Craze and Pretty Peacock and wrapped a bit of Scalloped Linen Pretty Peacock ribbon around it before laying it all on a base of Crumb Cake.  I popped up my sentiment banner with dimensionals after embossing it with Gold EP.

This photo shows a bit of the shimmery sparkle of the Champagne Shimmer spritz.  I wish it would photograph like it looks in real life....it's so pretty!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Rustic Retreat Christmas ~ CCMC586, PP466

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new sketch challenge.  I also used the theme from The Paper Players Into The Woods challenge to help me along with my design team card.
I used my Rustic Retreat stamp set, which I think is so neat, to complete this card.  I love it paired with the Buffalo Check background stamp inked in black on Real Red cardstock.  Does it get more "woodsy" than that?

I stamped the cabin on a scrap of white, colored it with Blends, and fussy cut it out.  I stamped the rows of trees directly on my main panel and then popped the cabin up with dimesionals.  I used Dazzling Diamonds glitter to make some snow on the ground in front of the cabin.

The little pinecone is fussy cut from the Christmastime is Here DSP.

Christmastime is Here ~ HSS327, CTS346, FF0046

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments new color challenge featuring Coastal Cabana, Real Red, and Shaded Spruce. I slipped in some copper accents for added elegance.  I also used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #346 to help me with my team design card. Festive Friday's inspiration list helped me out as well.  I used Stitching, Quilting or texture, and Green.

Aren't you just in love with this new Christmastime is Here Rose?  Oh, it's so beautiful and SO VERSATILE!  I've seen so many ideas done with it lots of different ways and each one is elegant!
I of course stuck kinda traditional.  This stamp set also offers the perfect chance to use your Stamparatus.  Once you get all the stamps set up stamping and coloring the flower is a breeze!
The coordinating dies are fabulous too!  On this card I used my pretty label punch to showcase the sentiment and backed it with the lattice die with some copper thread looped around behind.
It's hard to tell by the photo but the Tufted background and rose are spritzed with Champagne Shimmer spritz.  It's so shimmery and sparkly!  I just love it!

Here'a a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Christmastime is Here
Ink: Early Esspresso, Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Versamark
Paper: Shaded Spruce, Copper Foil, White, Real Red
