Navy Poinsettia ~ HSS351, CTS395

Hey stampers!  Isn't this a beautiful color combo put out by Hand Stamped Sentiments?  At first I was not inspired by the combo as purple is just not one of my favorite colors to work with....but I do love Night of Navy!  I had been wanting to color the new Poinsettia Petals in blue so this was a good match!  I figured I could make my leaves Blackberry Bliss and add Bumblebee and Gold Foil sprigs.  I incorporated some chunky glitter on the flower center and the Bumblebee sprigs to make it more "holiday-ish".  I actually love the way this turned out and it could be one of my favorite cards to date!
I used the sketch from Case This Sketch to help me out with this HSS design team card.

Autumnal Country Home ~ CCMC632, FMS455

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  This week is color week and we've got a nice, rich autumnal palette for you to play along with.
I used Country Home, which has a nice fall feel.  I stamped the images on watercolor paper and watercolored them out of my ink pad lids with the aquapainter.
The Cajun Craze background is embossed the with the Tin Tile folder, which I adore!  It's definitely one of my all time favorites!   I brushed it with my gold metallic ink pad, which is retired.  I like the look it gives and makes the tiles pop.  The wood DSP from the In Good Taste pack picks up the Early Espresso very nicely.
I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch to help me along with this weeks designer card.  I flipped the sketch on it's side though.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Halloween Inspiration ~ HSS349, CTC287

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments September inspiration challenge.  I took my inspiration from the upper right hand photo and played off the colors from the jack o lantern picture.  I also used Casing The Catty's case a tree project from the mini catty.  I cased the card in the middle on page 43.
I used a mix of current and retired product.  The current products are the stamp set (Snow Front), the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, the colors (Terricotta Tile, Black), and the Whale of a Time sequins.  The retired products are the Trick or Treat sentiment from Good Greetings, and the DSP.
