Sunshine and Rainbow Friend ~ CCMC701, PP576

Hello stampers! Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's Thursday Challenge.  It's sketch week and this one is kinda cool!  

I pulled from the Tic Tac Toe Challenge over at The Paper Players this week too!

Ever since I saw the big "Hello Friend" sentiment and the Sunshine and Rainbows DSP I thought they would go nice together.  I got my chance to try it today!

I'm partial to the Misty Moonlight background on this DSP and I also love the polka dots!  The little die cut clouds with the hearts stamped on them along with the Iridescent Rhinestone make the perfect little accessories to surround the sentiment.

Coral Bird ~ CCMC700, TTTC145, CAS Colours & Sketches #454

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary color challenge #700.....yep, you read that right....the 700th challenge!  I think I've been around since sometime in the 300's.  It's crazy the way time flies when you're having fun!

My card today features the bird from Friendly Hello colored with my Soft Succulent, Calypso Coral, and Crumb Cake Blends markers.  After fussy cutting it out I perched it on a gold foil oval.  This qualified my for the fun Tic Tac Toe challenge for this week.  I used Coloring, Oval, and Bird.  I also used the sketch from CAS Colors & Sketches challenge.

Rainbow of Happiness ~ HSS381, PP575

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #381.  We are using Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, and Pumpkin Pie.  

I hadn't had a chance to play with the new Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and I thought these might be bright and cheerful colors to use with it!  I think I was right!  Rainbows definitely don't need to be just rainbow colors!  I like the black paired with it as well.  I think it sets off the words so nicely.

I used the sketch from The Paper Players to help me out with my card as well.  I always like to use two or three souces of inspiration when I make my cards!

My rainbow is set off by the sweet little clouds from the brilliant rainbow dies, as well as the fun rainbow border die.  The DSP comes from the coordinating SAB paper set called Sunshine and Rainbows.  To accessorize my card I used black and white bakers twine and these sweet, new Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels.

Nature's Winter Fox CCMC699, PP574, TTTC144

Hello there stampers! Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's sketch challenge #699.  

To get my design team card created I took inspiration from The Paper Players clean and simple winter animals challenge, and Tic Tac Toe Challenge #144 using Blue, Animal, and Free Space.

I pulled out my Natures Beauty stamp set and used the fox.  I think of him as an arctic fox in blue, so he qualifies as a winter animal!  I also love the monochromatic look of all blue.  I used Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy.  

I do have to say, there are three night of navy panels there but there is only a slight sliver of a gap between them.  I almost looks like one full panel, but its not.

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's 2nd color challenge for the new year and what a fun combo it is!  I'm having lots of fun playing with all my new goodies.  This card features the sentiment from SAB Friendly Hello, images from Friends of the Forest, and SAB DSP

First Friendly Hello ~ HSS380, PP573

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge.  This is our first challenge for the new year!  

It gave me the chance to play with some of my new goodies from the SAB catalog.  I used the Friendly Hello stamp set.  I used a few of the MANY stamps in this set to create the long side panel.  I stamped them in Crumb Cake and colored the images with my Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Just Jade, Crumb Cake, and light Soft Seafoam Blends markers, colors inspired by The Paper Players color challenge this week.  

I thought the look lent itself nicely to a sypmathy theme, so I used a couple sentiments from Inspired Thoughts.

Otter Birthday ~ CCMC697, SUOC292, PCC454

Hello Stampers and Happy New Year! Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's first sketch challenge for 2022.  We're kicking off the new year with a bunch of new products from the Spring mini catalog and the new Sale-A-Bration.  All the products used on this card are from SAB.  

I started off with the fun Awesome Otters set and paired it with Sunshine & Rainbows DSP.  I thought this was a good duo for a bright, fun birthday card.  

I colored the otter with Blends markers.  Colors I used were: light and dark Crumb Cake, light and dark Bermuda Bay, light and dark Magenta Madness, light Pool Party, light Daffodil Delight, and Dark Granny Apple Green.

I'm sharing my card on Paper Craft Crew Challenge "anything goes" and Stampin' Up Only Challenge designers choice.
