Pink Lemonade ~ HSS465, GDP500, TTTC272

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments photo inspiration/color challenge #465.  I chose the photo with the pinks.  I used the Cheer & Sips bundle again to complete my card.  I'm also playing along with Global Design Project #500 where we get to case any one of the designers.  I chose to case Kim Fee's card, which I've showcased below.  I'm also participating in Tic Tac Toe Challenge #272 using Die Cuts/Patterned Paper/Enamel Dots or Sequins.

For my card, I started with the tall glass, embossed with White EP and cut from a piece of Celebratory Sips DSP. The mint leaves were embossed with white EP on Soft Seafoam CS and die cut.  I embossed the lemons with white EP on watercolor paper and watercolored them with Pretty In Pink ink.  I added some chunky glitter to the rim of the glass to mimic a sugar rim.  I also added some iridescent glitter to the pink lemons.  For the sentiment, I embossed with white EP on Flirty Flamingo CS and fussy cut it out.  Everything is layered on a background of white CS embossed with the Basics EF with bit of Flirty Flamingo ink brushed behind the glass.  The white background is layered on a piece of Flirty Flamingo CS and adhered to a Pretty In Pink cardbase.
Lastly, I used several enamel dots and pearls.  This was one of the things I really liked on Kim's card.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Party Piggy Grad/Birthday ~ GDP499

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for my oldest grandson's birthday/kindergarten graduation party.
This is one of the great things about creating your own cards.  They can be customized to whatever you need!  I used the new Piggy Party stamp set and coordinating die to make this fun card.  I'm sharing it to Global Design Project #499 which challenges us to use animals this week.

I wanted to use bright, fun colors and had set some scraps of these colors aside on my desk quite some time ago.  Even though this card is for my grandson, I thought the bright pink was just right for this cute little piggy.  And the sentiment fit right in with what I need the card for!  The WOO HOO is from a retired set called Amazing Phrases and the grad cap is from another retired set called Pomp and Circumstance.  My grandson's little cap and gown are a gold/yellow color, so I chose to make the cap Daffodil Delight to match.
I think this turned out so cute and is fun.  He's gonna love it, I know!

Here's a list of my supplies....

Stamps: Party Piggy, Amazing Phrases, Pomp & Circumstance
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Blueberry Bushel, White, Polished Pink
Accessories: Party Piggy Dies

Cheers and Sips To You! ~ TGIFC527, ATSAM494

Hello stampers! Today's card is for TGIF Challenges #527. The challenge this week is to use the Celebratory Sips collection.  I'm also playing along with Addicted To Stamps and More-any occasion challenge.

I embossed one of the DSP's with the glass from the Cheers and Sips set in white and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I liked the red color in this glass. Next, I stamped the orange slices, mint leaves, and cherries on watercolor paper in each respective color of Timid Tiger, Old Olive, and Real Red. I brushed some water over them all and also added a little ink water coloring.
After coloring, I cut them out with the coordinating dies and layered them on an Everyday Arches white die cut that was already laying on my desk from a previous project!
For the background panel, I did a watercolor wash of Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. After it dried I embossed it with the Garden and Glass EF.
I finished off the card by embossing on Timid Tiger CS and fussy cutting the Cheers sentiment and then adding a white twine curly bow behind it. I also accessorized with another little strip of Celebratory Sips DSP,  and some glassy dots. The To You sentiment was Stamped in Timid Tiger ink on a white scrap strip and cut at an angle to add interest. The whole thing was splattered with white ink to finish.  The only thing I wish I had added, looking back, was a brush of ink on the arch background behind the glass. I may have to re-do this card and try that. I cut several of these little wine glasses in different colors from the DSP, so I definitely could try again!

Rapid Water Sail Away ~ CI188, AYSI342

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is a non-typical graduation card.  I used the color combo from Colour Inkspiration #188. Obviously they made a wonderful sea and sky combination.  I'm also playing along with As You See It Rapid Water Challenge #349.  This challenges us to make a card under 10 minutes from start to finish.  You can preplan your card and have your supplies ready.  I had made this card previously in different colors, so I had a bit of practice putting it together.  It's super simple really.  The Z-fold is quite simple, and you can see a video on how to do a z-fold card here.  From start to finish, this card took me 9 minutes, 45 seconds to make.  15 seconds to spare.  I should also mention that I cased Robbie Susan's card here
