Country Plant ~ HSS460, PP731, JUGS768

Hello Stampers! Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge.  Our colors this time are Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock and Summer Splash.
I focused a lot on the background using the Linked Together Decorative Mask. Which allows me to play along with the Just Us Girls stencil challenge.  I really love how this looks like a wooden lattice.  I think it goes together well with the plant. I also used Elements of Text stamps on the background behind the plant, but it's kind of hidden.  It's just a subtle look. I also added some splatters with another stamp in that set.
For my Country Flowers plant, I colored the leaves with Summer Splash and Pretty Peacock blends.  I colored the pot with my light Crumb Cake blend and Pecan Pie blends.  This little potted plant ties into the tic tac toe challenge at The Paper Players this week.  I chose to use Ribbon, Green, and Sentiment.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Country Flowers, Notes of Nature, Elements of Text
Ink: Pecan Pie, Summer Splash blends, Pretty Peacock blends, Pecan Pie blends, Crumb Cake blends, Memento black
Paper: Pretty Peacock, Summer Splash, Pecan Pie, Vanilla
Accessories: Brushed Brass Butterflies, Forever Greenery ribbon, Pecan Pie ribbon, Linked Together Decorative Masks, Tinsel gems, Linen Thread, Notes of Nature dies

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
Jenny

  5. Love these colors and the creative way you used them on your card, Jenny! The plant looks fabulous against the lattice and I like the lighter color peeking out of the holes on the right side. Thanks for playing along over at the Paper Players!
