Merry Gold & Green Bells ~ HSS452, SSC349

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #452 and Sunday Stamps Challenge #349.

The bulk of this card was made with the Season of Green and Gold specialty paper, Vellum, and Season of Elegance specialty paper. I accented it with Basic Black and Gold Foil. My card was finished off with embossed Gold Christmas Label and Vanilla Gingham ribbon.

Harrison Is One Happy Camper! ~ GDP472

Hello Stampers!  Today is my great nephew's 1st birthday!  We'll be celebrating tomorrow with a party and the theme is One Happy Camper.  I just HAD to make a card to commemorate the occasion and this is what I came up with!  I used the colors and layout (sort of) from the CASE the Designer Challenge at Global Design Project.  

This was a fun card to make and while I know that little Harrison won't appreciate the card, his mama will!

I stamped the ONE from 25 Days with versamark ink on the base of the card and embossed it with white embossing powder.  I brushed some Coastal Cabana over the embossed words with my blending brush.  I stamped the camper on watercolor paper and embossed it with black embossing powder.  I watercolored the camper and fussy cut it out.  I did the same with the balloons.  I used the number 1 from one of the stamps from 25 Days, inked it in Pecan Pie ink and stamped it one white cardstock.  I punched it out with a 1" circle punch.  The Happy Camper was stamped in Memento Black ink on a scrap of white.  I angle cut both ends.

I added a couple of circles of Linen Thread behind the 1 circle and adhered everything to the card.  The 1 and Happy Camper are popped up on dimensionals.  I finished the card off with some Dots for Days in a coordinating color.

Forest Finds Shaker Christmas ~ HSSW451, IB309, TTTC260, GDP471

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for the month of November.  My card also takes in the mushroom challenge from Inspired By, Tic Tac Toe Challenge using Die Cut, Metallic Element, and Festive Sentiment. My metallic element is the shimmer from the Wink of Stella pen.  It's hard to see in the photos.  I'm also playing along with the Holiday Icon theme over at Global Design Project.  My icon is a snowflake.

I named this card Forest Finds because all the elements are taken from the forest--pine sprigs, pinecones, mushrooms, snowflakes, and branches.  

It's got everything but the kitchen sink!  It's also a shaker!
