Coral Bouquet Jar ~ CCMC712

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create With Connie and Mary's new color challenge.  These colors are very interesting together.  I wasn't sure what I was gonna do with them, but then settled on the sunflower bouquet done up in Calypso Coral with Just Jade and Pear Pizzazz for the greenery.  I added some punch greenery behind the bouquet as well.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Hybrid Blooms in Color ~ CCMC711, PP586

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary and the new sketch challenge for April. April showers bring may flowers....at least that's what I'm hoping for!  We've been extremely dry here in our part of the country and are currently under a huge blizzard.  It's tough on the cattle, but at least it's moisture, which we so desperately need!
So, for now I'll settle for flowers of the paper kind.  I couldn't resist using the colors from the Paper Players this week.  They are so fun and springy and a favorite combo of mine!  I chose to use black as my neutral.
I've had the Bloom Hybrid embossing folder and dies for quite some time but only used the die for cutting out stamped flowers from the coordinating stamp set.  I've never used the dies to cut out the embossed flowers.  I figured it was about time since it's about ready to retire.  It didn't make the cut for the new catalog.
The black leaves for the flowers are from the Bloom dies as well.
The sentiment is from Celebrate Sunflowers.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Let's Paint The Town Birthday ~ HSS386, PP585, GDP337

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments April Sketch Challenge.  The sketch was designed by yours truly!
I knew I wanted to use flowers for the circle elements on the sketch, so I turned to an old set called Brushed Blooms.  I stamped the big rose in Blushing Bride, the smaller roses in So Saffron, and the leaves in Soft Seafoam.....all colors from Global Design Projects challenge this week!
I'm also joining in with the Paper Players laughter is the best medicine theme challenge because I thought this sentiment that is from Brushed Blooms is funny....."Let's paint the town, as long as I'm home by 9"!  That's pretty much my life!
The stripe on the side panel are supposed to mimic paint strokes.
I also did my stamping on white cardstock and mounted it on Shimmer White cardstock. I just love the little bit of difference in the whites.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Brushed Blooms
Ink: Blushing Bride, Soft Seafoam, So Saffron
Cardstock: White, Shimmer White
Accessories: Beautiful Brushstrokes dies, Enamel glitter dots, white bakers twine.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
