Checkered Cherry Sweet ~ HSS495

Hello Friends!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge for August.  I chose to be inspired by the cherry picture.  I'm continuing on with my fruit kick, as you can tell from may last couple posts.  This time I used the DSP from Homemade Sweetness and the cherry image from a retired Paper Pumpkin set called Lots of Pun.  I thought it would be cute to paper piece the cherry with this fun checkered DSP.

Blueberries For My Honey ~ FMS749

Hello friends!  Today's card is one that I made for my Husband for his upcoming birthday.  He's a big fan of blueberry pie and every year on his birthday I make him one.  I thought this would be a cute card to give him along with his pie.  I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  It's been a long, long time since I've been able to play along with this challenge.  One of the requirements for FMS is to keep things clean and simple.  This isn't my usual style and I really had to restrain myself from adding a bunch of extras!  Everything worked out well, though, because I feel like cards for men are usually not so fussy.

Summer Strawberries ~ AYSI378

Hey friends!  Today's card is a sweet birthday card that I made my sister-in-law.  She really likes strawberries, so I thought this would be perfect for her.  It also fits into the Summer Days theme challenge from As You See It #378.  I think the happy pink colors, as well as the sunny yellow polkadot paper play along with the cute strawberries and sweet little flowers.  All together they say summer!
