Amazing Dazzling Flower ~ HSS284, MIUC40

Hey there stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #284.
I also used the sketch from SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge #40

My card came together using my new set {Beautiful Day}.  I really like this big, bold flower.  I'm super excited to play around with the butterfly that comes in this set too!  I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with my aqua painter and ink pads.  Next, I fussy cut it out.  I used a double sided adhesive sheet on the front of the flower so the colored side was sticky.  I sprinkled the whole thing with Dazzling Diamonds glitter to make it really gleam!
I topped it all off with a sentiment from {Amazing You} and a {Celebrate You} Thinlit.....which is simply amazing!!!
I must say that I wasn't really thrilled with this color combo at first, but I love the end result!  The colors are so rich together!

Here's a list of all my supplies.....
Stamps: Beautiful Day, Amazing You
Ink: Tranquil Tide, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Stazon Black
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Eastern Palace DSP
Accessories: Glitter Enamel dots, Double sided adhesive sheets, Layering Circle Framelits, Celebrate You Thinlits, Dazzling Diamonds glitter

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Berry Bursting Basket ~ CCMC498, JUG428, TGIFC147

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's newest sketch challenge.  I was so excited to use some brand new Sale-a-bration items.  The Blossoming Basket and Basket weave Dynamic Texture embossing folder are available for free with a $100 purchase!  The Celebrate You Thinlits are also available for free with a $100 purchase.  There's lots of other great items in the Sale-a-bration catalog that you can get for free with a $50 purchase as well.
I used the color inspiation from Just Us Girls #428 and went with Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay, and Crumb Cake.  I added in some black with the Petal Palette DSP.  I actually colored the blossoms in the basket with my Rich Razzleberry Blends markers, but I think it goes very nicely with the Berry Burst, don't you?  The butterfly and leaves were colored with my Bermuda Bay Blends and the basket was done with the Crumb Cake Blends.
Because most items used on my card come from the Sale-A-Bration catalog I'm also joining in with TGIF Challenge #147.  I just have to say how much I LOVE the Dymanic Embossing Folders.  I adore the great texture they provide!  As soon as I saw the basketweave pattern I knew it had to be in my collection!  It's so cool, right?!

I finished my card off with a little wink of stella on the butterfly and the "amazing".

Thanks for taking a peek and I hope you'll join us on the Create with Connie and Mary Facebook page with your creations!

Two for One Color Challenge ~ CCMC497, SIP137, TTTC034, SUO194

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary Challenge 497 - a color challenge.  This is such a fun combo, don't you think?
I added a couple of other challenges in the mix to help me along with my designer card--
For Stamp Ink Paper Tic Tac Toe Challenge #137 I chose to use Sequins, Flowers and Embossing.  For Tic Tac Toe Challenge 34 I used Die Cut, Emboss, and Floral.

I'm also playing along with SU Only Challenge 194 which challenges us to CASE something out of the current catalogs.  I chose to case the box from the Foil Frenzy Suite on the bottom left hand side of page 76 in the big catalog. I turned mine into a card, of course!
Happy Birthday Gorgeous Photopolymer Bundle

I also made this card using the CCMC Color Challenge and the SUO challenge.  I used the water-colored image on page 16 as my CASE inspiration.

Coffee Cafe Love ~ HSS284, PP380, FF0001

Hey there stampers! Today's card is my design leader card for Hand Stamped Sentiments 284 Sketch Challenge.  I used The Paper Players Color Challenge 380 and and brand new challenge blog called Festive Friday...in fact this is their very first challenge!  I'm so happy to play along!
I chose to go with Coffee Cafe to make my fun Valentine's Day card.  I used some retired Quilted Christmas DSP as the background for the yummy cup of coffee.  Even though this was intended for Christmas I love how it can be incorporated into a Valentine's Card easily!  Red gingham is classic!
I also incorporated lots of hearts in different sizes and textures.  I think it's pleasing to the eye.  A little bit of paper doily adds some charm.  I popped the heart sentiment and the beans up on dimensionals as well as the gingham square.

Come play along with us at HSS.  This sketch is so versatile and I'm excited to see everyone's creations!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Coffee Cafe, Merry Cafe
Ink: Crumb Cake, Versamark
Paper: Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White, Quilted Christmas DSP
Accessories: heart EF, Red bakers twine, Coffee Cups Framelits, White EP, paper doily

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Wooden Petal Palette ~ CCMC496

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create With Connie and Mary sketch Challenge #496.  I love the simplicity of this sketch.  I felt like playing around with the Wood Textures DSP and the little bird from Petal Palette.  I just love coloring with my Stampin' Blend markers!  I used the Crumb Cake dark and light, plus Bronze.  I think the colors really look good with the wood paper.  I jazzed things up with some foliage die cuts and leaf punch in black.  The white background is embossed with Pinewood Planks Dynamic Texture folder.  I topped everything off with a few black sequins and a couple rhinestones in the center of the flowers.

I hope you'll be able to join us this week!  Share your creation on the Create with Connie and Mary Facebook page.

Sponge Blended Happy Birthday ~ CCMC495

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for the newest Create with Connie and Mary color challenge.
I thought these colors would blend together beautifully, so that's the idea I went with. I sponged Calypso Coral, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry together on a scrap of white cardstock and then used the Happy Birthday thinlit die and cut out this awesome sentiment.  I paired it up with Black and white to help the colors pop.
I stamped the rose bunch from Petal Palette on the background panel.

I added a bit more color by adding some iridescent sequins, some Calypso Coral ribbon and mini sequin trim.

Here's the inside of the card.  This sentiment is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
