Bold Fast Florals ~ CCMC610, AYSI224, TGIF261

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge #610.  Can you believe we are up to 610 challenges?  Wow!  I think I started with the design team when we were in the 300's.  Pretty amazing!
Speaking of pretty amazing, just look at this designer paper from the Ornate Garden suite!  It's so pretty!  I kept my design pretty similar to the sketch...the only variation is my sentiment strip is a little longer than the one on the sketch.  This card came together super fast so I'm also joining up with As You See It Fleet Florals Challenge.  This card took me just under 10 minutes to make!
It also fits into the TGIF use your words die cut challenge!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Ornate Florals ~ HSS338, JUGS533

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments new sketch challenge created by yours truly!  I took this opportunity to play with my new Ornate Garden Suite.  I followed the inspiration photo from Just Us Girls for my color palette, using Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Rococo Rose, and Granny Apple Green.  I colored the image with my Blends markers in the coordinating colors.
After coloring the Ornate Style stamp I fussy cut it out.  I cut a black mat from the Ornate Layers dies and adhered it all to a white base embossed with the Ornate Floral EF.  The Ornate Thanks set has many, many options for thank yous and I absolutely love the script font!  Everything coordinates so well together!

Emboss Resist Wild Rose ~ CCMC609

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new color challenge featuring Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Bermuda Bay.
I chose to use the To A Wild Rose set for this one.  For my background piece I embossed the leaf stamp with white embossing powder on white cardstock and then used a sponge with Coastal Cabana ink to lay the color over the top. I edged the two pieced with the edge die cut from Wild Rose.  It's all laid on a base of Bermuda Bay.
I stamped the flower with my stamparatus.  It makes a two step stamp...or in this case, a three step stamp.....so much easier to stamp, especially if you have to make multiple!
The CONGRATULATIONS sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet.

Birthday Pickup ~ CCMC608, PP486

Hey there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new sketch challenge. Isn't this a cute one?  I really like it and think I'll probably return to it sometime in the future.
I also used the color combo from The Paper Players.....well sorta.  I wanted to color the truck with my blends markers and I only had Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue.  I also used Crumb Cake for the neutral.  My card combines blue, yellow, and a neutral anyway!

I'm gonna let you in on a secret.....the little linen bow is hiding a mistake.  When I stamped the balloons I didn't get them stamped close enough to the bed of the pickup.  there was a slight gap, so I added the bow to disguise it!  You'd never know!
I need to use this set more...it's so cute!

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Let It Ride
Ink: Memento Black, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, light Smokey Slate, and light Black Blends markers
Paper: White, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, and Daffodil Delight DSP
Accessories: Linen Thread, Stitched Nested Labels, Subtle EF

Crushed Poppy Roses ~ CCMC607, AYSI222, SSC228

Hello there stampers!  I hope you are all doing well and not to tired of social distancing!  I live a pretty rural part of the country and while parts of our lives have changed, much remains the same.  I work for the postal system, so I am working through this all, which I don't mind at all.  Anyway, I hope you all are well and untouched by this virus!
Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's new color challenge.   Bright and cheerful is what I say about these colors!  Poppy Parade is such a fun color.  I must admit that when it first came out I really didn't think I'd like it, but then again that happens to me with a lot of colors that I don't think I like at first.  I'm thankful for these kinds of challenges because it forces me to play with colors and accessories I might not usually go towards.
I also used the theme from As You See It #222 and the sketch from Sunday Stamps #228 to help me along with my design team card.

I started by stamping the flowers from To A Wild Rose with Stazon Ink on watercolor paper.  I then water-colored the images with my aqua painter and pads.  They were die cut with the coordinating die cuts, but I did go back in to trim them up with my scissors a bit because sometimes I don't like the white edges showing.  I added some of the script Poppy Parade DSP for the background, and then added some gold thread and a gold faceted gem for my something shiny and ribbon or trim.  I couldn't decided on a sentiment, so I just left it off.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Great Pair ~ CCMC606

Hi there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's latest challenge, which is a sketch.  I had some fun with this one!  The images are fun and super easy to color with Blends markers.
I used Animal Outing set and chose the "Together We Make A Great Pair" sentiment.  At some point I'll give this to someone I've worked on a project with or something!
I wanted to keep the card fairly simple in case I decided to give it to a man.....like my husband or sons!  I think in that case the less accessories the better.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Animal Outing
Ink: Memento Black;  Bronze, Crumb Cake, Smokey Slate, Pool Party, and Pear Pizzazz blends
Paper: Basic Gray, Smokey Slate, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, White
Accessories: Animal Friends dies, Layering Circles dies, Layered Leaves EF
