Snail Birthday Mail ~ GDP557, TTTC297

Hello friends!  Today's card is for a special birthday and I couldn't resist playing along with the colors from Global Design Project.  I'm also playing along with Tic Tac Toe Challenge 297 using Any Shape Die (Everyday Arches), Free, and Party (Birthday, Obviously!)

The black and white background paper is from Beautiful Ordinary Life and everything else is stamped from the Wild Bunch set. I colored all the images with blends markers. I think this turned out so cute!

Patriotic Highlander ~ TGIFC586

Hi friends!  Today's card is for TGIF Challenges inspiration photo.  I was commissioned to make thank you cards for a few kids to give when they sell their animals at the local county fair.  The fair theme this year is patriotic, commemorating the 250th year celebration of the USA.  I wanted to incorporate that theme into my cards.

Congratulations In Color ~ HSS493

Hello friends!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge for July, which is a color combo that I got to choose!  It's a beautiful color trio featuring two of our new In-Colors: Golden Glow and Barely Blush.  I thought they paired nicely with Lost Lagoon.  

I let all the patterned paper do the heavy lifting on this card!  Everything except the sentiment and the ribbon is DSP!  I colored the flowers from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP and fussy cut them out.  I used my ink pads and blender pens to swipe on the color for the Golden Glow flowers and the Lost Lagoon leaves.  I used my Barely Blush Blends to color in the others.

Everything sits on a background of Shimmering Stripes Specialty Paper.  I thought the sparkle in the paper added an elegance that could make this a wedding card.  

I'm playing along with Just Us Girls mood board challenge as well. I think these beautiful summery colors fit into that board nicely.

I cased this card from Papertrey Ink.  I wish I knew who made it so I could give them the credit, but I searched with no conclusion.  I loved how special it looked with the extra folded strips of DSP.

Hello Lovely Summer ~ HSS492, TTTC296

Hello friends!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Mood Board Challenge!  I was inspired by the stripes, dots, gold accents, and pink flowers. Inspiration photos are among my favorite challenges to play along with and this one definitely has so many options to choose from! I'm so excited to see what everyone come up with, so please play along with us! 

I'm also playing along with Tic Tac Toe Challenge going down the right side using Summer Colors, Border, and Stencil.  My stencil is obviously the flower from Layers of Beauty.  For the border, I used my Stitched With Whimsey die, and of course all shades of pink are summery colors.  

This is a CASE of a card I made back in 2024.  I came across the card and decided I wanted to make a re-do with this fabulous DSP from Artisan Sketched Garden and use the wonderful pink colors from the inspiration photo.
