Keep Dreaming ~ CCMC576, JAI471, SUO230, TGIFC226

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is my design team card for Create with Connie and Mary's newest sketch challenge.  I also used the insiration colors from Just Add Ink, the splatter inspiration from TGIF Challenges, and I made my card clean and simple for SUO 230: clean and simple. I know clean and simple calls for lots of "white space", but card has lots of "black space".  It's pretty simple, anyway!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Silhouette Scenes
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Night of Navy, Versamark
Paper: watercolor, black, white, Vellum
Accessories: Rectangle Stitched dies, Bouquet Bunch die, Sprig punch, Basket weave EF, Black Shimmer EP, Rhinestones colored with a black sharpie, hole circle punch

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: To a Wild Rose, Crackle
Ink: Merry Merlot, Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron
Paper: Merry Merlot, White, Rococo Rose DSP

Terracotta Rose Friendship ~ CCMC575, ATC166, AYSI207

Hello there stampers!  My card today is for this week's color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary.  We are using Terracotta Tile, So Saffron, and Garden Green.
I'm also joining up with Addicted to CAS One Layer challenge and As You See It challenge #207.  Technically my card isn't a one layer, but it's white on white, so it looks like one layer.  I wanted to emboss the main panel with the Subtle EF after it was stamped and I feel like it's easier running a cut piece through the big shot rather than the whole card front.
I loosely followed the sketch for AYSI.
I kept my card very, very simple and let the colors shine for themselves!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Waterfront Masculine Birthday ~ CCMC574, SSC211

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Create With Connie and Mary's new sketch challenge.  I also used the colors from Sunday Stamps Challenge 211

I needed a masculine Birthday card so I chose to go with my Waterfront set and make a nice mountain meadow scene.  I used Petal Pink and Terracotta Tile for the sky and sun, Early Espresso for the mountains, Crushed Curry for the meadow ground, and Pretty Peacock for the evergreen trees.
I accented everything with Terracotta Tile cardstock and DSP, as well as Wood Textures DSP.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Country Home Sympathy ~ HSS321, CTC241

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #321 featuring Pretty Peacock, Cherry Cobbler, and Soft Suede.  I needed a sympathy card for a good friend whose mother just passed, so I took advantage of the rich, pretty colors and created a nice bouquet.  I also used the layout of the bottom left card on page 101 for Casing the Catty #241.  I'm actually loving this layout and will probably use it again!

No photo description available.

I started out by stamping my images from Country Home in Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored in the images with Pretty Peacock, Cherry Cobbler, Bronze, and Ivory Blends markers.  I cut it all out with a Stitched Nested Label die.
I randomly stamped the leaves and branches image on the card base with Cherry Cobbler ink before adhering a 5"x 3 3/4" piece of Wood Textures DSP embossed with the Tin Tile folder.
A little bit of retired Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, a library clip, some linen thread and a little swatch of vellum round out the details on this card.
The sentiment is from Well Said and stamped in Soft Suede ink.

I decorated the inside with a bit of leftover DSP, ribbon and some stamping.

Stamps: Country Home, Well Said
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Cherry Cobbler, Bronze and Ivory Blends markers, memento black, Pretty Peacock, Cherry Cobbler, and Soft Suede
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Wood Textures, White, Vellum
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, Linen thread, Tin Tile 3-D folder, Library Clip, Stitched Nested Labels die

Grapefruit Friendship Rose ~ CCMC573, CTC240

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for the new color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary.  This is such an interesting color trio and probably colors I would not put together if not for this challenge.  I ended up really, really liking them once my card was complete!  I'm also sharing my card on Casing the Catty 240.  I cased the card on page 61 on the right side of the page.  I'm actually loving this card so much and will probably make more in other colors.  It came together so quickly!
My card fits nicely into Watercooler Wednesday's Feminine Anything Goes challenge too!

No photo description available.

I started by stamping the roses on watercolor paper with Grapefruit Grove ink.  I added the leaves in Sahara Sand ink and then picked up Pretty Peacock ink with my aquapainter and painted in between the flowers.  I love to watercolor because it's so imperfect but looks so good!  I also added the centers of the flower in Pretty Peacock.
I added a bit of lace ribbon to the edge of the main panel after cutting it out with a stitched rectangle die, and then layered it on a panel of gold foil that was run through the big shot with the Subtle 3-D folder. The whole thing is on a Pretty Peacock card base.  I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Friendship on some Very Vanilla cardstock, embossed it with gold EP and cut it out with a stitched shape circle die.  I looped some linen thread behind it and attached it with some dimensionals.

I stamped the inside with the bigger roses from Beautiful Friendship and added the leaves and centers to those as well.

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: Grapefruit Grove, Pretty Peacock, Sahara Sand, Versamark
Paper: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Watercolor, gold foil
Accessories: Linen thread, Stitched Shape die, Stitched Rectangle die, lace ribbon

Father's Day Dashing Deer ~ CTC240, JUG499

Hey stampers!  I needed to create a card to enter into my county fair, so I took my que from Casing the Catty and cased this card on page 48 of the big catalog:
I stuck to similar colors but used a different stamp set.
I also figured I'd join Just Us Girls #499 Summer.  I'm thinking outside the summer box here.  My card features deer grazing in a summer meadow and Father's Day is also in summer, so there you go!

I just adore water-coloring the birds and flower from this set!

Accented Friendship Hello ~ CCMC572, ATSM352

Hello stampers!  Another Thursday has rolled around and that means it's time for another Create with Connie and Mary challenge!  It's a sketch this time.
I also was inspired by Addicted to Stamps and More Make Your Mark Challenge #352
I picked the Accented Blooms stamp set and then randomly picked out blends markers to color it in with.  I ended up with Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, and Mint Macaron.
After I stamped and colored the image, I fussy cut it out.  I popped it up on a Very Vanilla die cut circle that was run through the big shot with the Subtle 3-D folder.  I backed it all with a scallop circle cut from Highland Heather cardstock.  The main image is fixed on a Daffodil Delight DSP background with a mat of Gorgeous Grape.  The sentiments were stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink.  A width of Polka Dot Tulle ribbon finished everything off.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
