Another Charming Day Wedding ~ HSS467, AYSI351

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments July Sketch Challenge.  I needed yet another wedding card, so I chose to use the lovely Charming Day set again.  I used the color combo of Peach Pie, Melon Mambo, and Garden Green from As You See It #351.

I started by embossing the large rose image on watercolor paper with white embossing powder.  I watercolored the image with the challenge colors.  Even though this is a pretty bright color palette, when using watercolor the colors seem to soften a bit.  The Melon Mambo is very light, but I assure you it really is Melon Mambo!
I die cut the colored image along with some foliage from Charming Day and Layers of Beauty dies.  I used white and gold for the foliage. I also die cut and embossed the sentiments in gold and white to tie it all together.  The sentiments are from Delightful Wishes.

Instead of going with a plain rectangular panel, I opted for an Everyday Arches dies cut.  I think it makes the card more attractive and added interest.  I brushed on some Peach Pie ink to the arch to make it stand out. It's all perched on a white and Peach background embossed with my basics and Garden and Glass Embossing folders.
The bow is tied on with Gold Mesh Ribbon.

Here's a list of my supplies......
Stamps: Charming Day, Delightful Wishes
Ink: Peach Pie, Melon Mambo, Garden Green, Versamark
Paper: White, Peach Pie, Gold Foil, watercolor
Accessories: Everyday Arches dies, Layers of Beauty dies, Delightful Wishes dies, gold EP, white EP, Mesh Ribbon, Garden and Glass EF, Basics EF

Charming Day Wedding~ ColourInkspiration190, JAI758ur

Today's card another wedding card and I've used Colour Inkspiration Challenge 190, with the colors of Basic Beige, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze. I also used the sketch from Just Add Ink #758. I think they came together in a lovely fashion!

I started with a Basic Beige stitched circle die cut. I brushed Crumb Cake ink over the circle using the Linked Together Decorative Mask. To be honest, at this point it totally looked like a turtle shell to me and I was almost ready to scrap it. I decided to add some of the images from Notes of Nature over the top and that did the trick for me!
I colored the small flower image from Charming Day with the challenge colors and die cut it. I chose the smaller image because I wanted to show more of the circle. The flower was settled on a bow of linen thread and thin copper thread. I nestled in some Crumb Cake die cut leaves in behind everything. For the background, I used a panel of Country Woods DSP and stamped some Crumb Cake splatters on it. The horizontal accent strip is a piece of Crumb Cake embossed with the Garden and Glass EF and then I crumpled it and brushed on Crumb Cake ink to bring out the texture of the paper. I added some accents of Cajun Craze cut from Notes of Nature dies. Lastly, I finished the card with a tiny sentiment banner that says "forever and always".

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Charming Day, Notes of Nature, Itty Bitty Greeting
Paper: Country Woods DSP, Cajun Craze, Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, White
Ink: Crumb Cake, Ivory, and Cajun Craze Blends markers, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze Ink pad, Memento Black
Accessories: stitched shapes die, Linked Together Decorative Mask, Linen Twine, Copper thread, Garden and Glass EF

In Color Wedding ~ SUOC379

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Stampin' Up Only Challenge #379 using the 25-27 in colors.  I used them all but Timid Tiger, and added Mossy Meadow for the leaves.
I think this is a cheerful combination!

One special thing about this card is the Garden and Glass embossing along the bottom background of the card.  I brushed some Secret Sea over the top of it to help enhance the embossed image.
The sentiment panel was left over from a project a couple cards ago.  I like it when I can use cast off pieces!

Here's a list of my supplies....

Ink: Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling, Mossy Meadow, Versamark
Paper: Strawberry Slush, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, White

Happy Hibiscus Wedding ~ CTD836, GDP503, PP744

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is another wedding card.  I'll be posting a few more after this as well.  It's definitely wedding season!  To start this beauty off, I used the color combo from Color Throwdown #836.  My colors are Berry Burst, Timid Tiger, and Crumb Cake.  I used the tic tac toe theme as well from The Paper Players Challenge #744. I chose the middle/across section of Flowers, Die Cuts, and Embossing.  And last but not least, I was inspired by the Flowers Theme Challenge at Global Design Project.
I figured the Happy Hibiscus set would look lovely in these bright colors, so that's the direction I went.  I think the Crumb Cake elevates the colors to make them a little more elegant.  I also love to add some glimmer to wedding cards, so I added gold glimmer paper leaf sprigs.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Happy Hibiscus
Paper: White, Timid Tiger, Crumb Cake
Ink: Berry Burst, Timid Tiger, Crumb Cake, Versamark
Accessories: Layers of Beauty die (small leave sprig), Changing Leaves die (sentiment die), White EP, Mesh Ribbon, Charming Shimmer Faceted Gems

Wedding Congrats ~ SSC363

Hello stampers! Today's card is for Sunday Stamps Challenge #363. The colors I used were Peach Pie, Timid Tiger, Cloud Cover, Secret Sea, and Old Olive.

It's wedding season, so there's lots of wedding cards needed! I think the Layers of Beauty bundle makes the most perfect wedding cards. The roses look amazing no matter what color combination you're using. I love the peach/orange combination here against the dark gray/blue background.
I started by stamping the roses in stamped off Secret Sea and then coloring it with the masks in the challenge colors. I the die cut the roses and the sliced the whole peice in half. For the background, I embossed a piece of Cloud Cover with the Forever Plaid 3D EF, distressed the edges, and then brushed it with Secret Sea ink. I splattered some black and white in over the whole background before attaching it the the Secret Sea base. Next, I adhered the sliced up flowers along the edge of the card. The sentiment from a retired set called Your Perfect Day was stamped in Secret Sea in on a level cut from Tasteful Labels die cuts. I laid down a big bow of Flowers For Every Season Twisted twine before popping up the label over the top. The card was finished off with a sprinkle of some blue gems.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Layers of Beauty, Your Perfect Day
Paper: Secret Sea, White, Cloud Cover
Ink: Peach Pie, Timid Tiger, Secret Sea, Old Olive
Accessories: Forever Plaid 3D EF, Flowers For Every Season twine, blue gems, Tasteful Labels dies

Wedding Wishes ~ HSS466, GDP502

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments June Color Challenge.  Our colors this time are Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green.
I needed to make a wedding card, so I went with the beautiful roses and posies of Layers of Beauty, both the stamp set and the decorative masks.  I just love using this set.  It's so easy to achieve many layers of color with the masks. For the sentiments, I used Delightful Wishes stamp set and dies.  I placed the sentiments to coordinate with the sketch from Global Design Project #502.  Although the shape of my card is a bit different with the Everyday Arches dies, I think it lends itself nicely to the sketch inspiration.

I was totally inspired by this card, made by Beth Roy.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Delightful Wishes, Layers of Beauty
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, Smokey Slate
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, White
