Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge for the month of May.  I needed to make a sympathy card, so this sketch provided a great start for it.  I also used the Tic Tac Toe inspiration board of Die Cuts, Ribbon/Twine, and Embossing Folder.  I used my new bundle called Sunrise Sailing to complete this challenge.  I'm also playing along with the Retro Rubber color challenge.  My retro rubber is the sympathy sentiment from an old Sale-A-Bration set called Heal Your Heart.

Delightful Wishes Mother's Day ~ HSS463

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for May.

Our colors are Fresh Freesia, Summer Splash, and Soft Seafoam.

I decided to use these pretty, soft colors for a nice spring Mother's Day Card. I think these flowers look so pretty in Fresh Freesia.  The Soft Seafoam was perfect for the leaves and the Summer Splash made a nice background.

The flower stamps and dies are from the Delightful Wishes set.

The Mother's Day sentiment is from a retired set called A Nice Cuppa, which I punched out with a retired punch called Pretty Label.  I made a cute, little frame for the flowered branch to sit on with the amazing Everyday Arches dies.  I rounded out this card with some Antique Pearls.

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Just Us Girls word week challenge (Fruit), and Just Add Ink color challenge using Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink, Summer Splash, and Basic Black.  I had fun using this new online exclusive set called Cheers and Sips.  It's so cute!  I was totally inspired by Kim Fee's card here.  I used the same layout design but changed up the colors to fit the color challenge.

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Freshly Made Sketches 685.

I used some new and old products on this card.  All the flowers are from Delightful Wishes, which is new, and the butterfly and sentiment are old products.  The butterfly is from a set called Best of Butterflies, and the sentiment is from Needle and Thread.

This card is going to a co-worker who definitely needs to be thanked and recognized!

Tickled Pink Tropical Flamingo ~ HSS462, PP735

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge # 462.  I was inspired by the print on the beach bag and the beach towel.  

My first inclination was to reach for my Mixed Florals set and color the pretty pink tulips.  However, I ultimately decided to go in a totally different direction and get tropical!  I used a mix of very old and new stuff.  The new items on my card are all from the Happy Hibiscus set.  The circle die, the flower dies, and the sentiment.  As for the old stuff, the Flamingo is from a set called Fabulous Flamingo, the leaves are from Tropical Chic, and the DSP is the coordinating paper from Tropical Chic called Tropical Escape.  The glimmer paper is Berry Burst and is also retired. I used those dark pink glimmer strips to mimic the stripes in the towel. 

I also used the sketch from The Paper Players #735.

Today's card is for a very special friend who lost her very special friend.  Our pets tend to become a very important part of our daily lives and when they cross over the rainbow bridge there is true grief.  I made this card for our friend on behalf of our work colleagues because she lost her little dog Kupper (pronounced Cooper).  I hope it will help to brighten her day and let her know that her know that all her co-workers care about her very much!

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Color Throwdown #831

We were challenged to use a sage green, yellow, and coral.  I ended up using Lost Lagoon, Peach Pie (which is my yellowish color) and Flirty Flamingo.  I colored this beautiful tulip image from Mixed Florals with Peach Pie, Flirty Flamingo, and Lost Lagoon blends.  I was also inspired by this card from Maheshwari Rajaguru.  Make sure you browse her blog...she's very talented!  I really love her style.
