Hi there stampers and welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary challenge. This week we have a pleasant color combination for you consisting of Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green. I've stated in posts past that I'm not really a purple kind of person....it's usually the last color I reach for, but it's always good to stretch and push yourself, and as usual I enjoyed using these colors after getting going with this card.
I really like the look of the scattered leaves from Safari Chic and have admired many a card done similarly, so that's the route I took with my card. I used the sketch from the Paper Players #407 to help me along with my design team card and decided I just as well enter into the Anything Goes challenge #185 over Water cooler Wednesday as well!
Here's a list of my supplies......
Stamps: Safari Chic
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green
Paper: White, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape
Accessories: Simple Stripe EF, Pearlized thread, Iridescent Sequins
Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
Jenny
I like your tropical purple paradise! It's very striking. Using the striped embossing folder over the top looks great. Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players this week.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty card Jenny; I love the shades of purple! I love the score lines too, really looks great. Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Paper Players!
