Flirty Friendship Birthday ~ HSS320

Hello stampers!  Today's card is my design team card for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge 320.  I used the Hydrangea looking stamp from a Beautiful Friendship as the circle element for my card and for added interest I stuck a couple of small roses in there.  My card was originally going in a different direction with different flowers and I had already added the black mat on the background, so therefore I just added a black label embossed with white EP.  I added a few sequins to jazz things up a bit.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Beautiful Friendship, Hello Cupcake
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Soft Seafoam, Versamark
Paper: Flirty Flamingo, White, Black, Tropical Escape DSP
Accessories: Pretty Label punch, White EP, self adhesive sequins, Decorative Ribbon border punch

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Brights Romantic Free Bird ~ CCMC571, FabFri168, SUOC228

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's last CASE the catalog challenge.  I really enjoyed this CASE....it's such an interesting layout.  I knew I wanted to use the Free As A Bird set which happens to be one of my favorites from the new catalog, therefore I'm sharing my card with SUO Challenge 228: New Catalog Favorite.
I also found this fun color combo from Fab Friday 168 using Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Bermuda Bay, and Pacific Punch.

I watercolored my images and fussy cut them all out, then layered them on a Stitched Layered Label die cut from Bermuda Bay DSP.  I think the scripty DSP lends a romantic feel to my card.  The Sahara Sand background was stamped with the flower image with Versamark ink.  I felt like the torn Sahara Sand background was a little too plain, so I backed it with a sliver of Lovely Lipstick.  I like how it turned out.

I kept the inside very neutral.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Free as A Bird
Ink: Lovely Lipstick, Bermuda Bay, Pineapple Punch, Pacific Point, Stazon Black, Versamark
Paper: Watercolor, Bermuda Bay DSP, Sahara Sand, white, Lovely Lipstick
Accessories: Pearls, dimensionals, Stitched Nested Labels

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Awesome Watercolor Cactus ~ CASC&S330

Hello Stampers!  Today I'm playing along with CAS Colours & Sketches color challenge.  I found these color intriguing for some reason.

I started by inking the cacti up in Bermuda Bay and stamping them on watercolor paper.  I used my aquapainter and swiped the ink around to give them a more "watercolor-y" look.  I added some Night of Navy ink to the shadow side of each cactus.  I stamped the sun from Waterfront and the flowers and added water to them in the same way.  I washed some Bermuda Bay over the background, careful to stay away from my stamped images.
Lastly, I cut out the panel using my Stitched Rectangles dies.  I adhered the panel to a bit of Night of Navy.  I stamped the sentiment in night of navy and punched it out with my tailored tag punch.  The Mango Melody background was run through my Big Shot with the Textured 3-D and then I applied a strip of Mango Melody DSP down the side.  I added the sentiment with dimensionals and accessorized one step further with a string of Bermuda Bay sequin trim.

The inside sentiment is from Well Said.
Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Flowering Desert, Well Said, Waterfront
Ink: Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy
Paper: White, Mango Melody CS & DSP, Night of Navy, Watercolor
Accessories: Tailored Tag punch, Stitched Rectangle dies, Textured 3-D

Rococo Wild Rose Case ~ CCMC570

Hey stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary Challenge.  This week we have another CASE the Catalog Challenge.  We are casing this card on page 110.

I colored the To A Wild Rose with my Rococo Rose Blends markers, as well as the Pretty Peacock markers.  I layered it on a panel of Whisper White that had been run through the big shot with the Country Floral 3D.  The whole thing was topped onto some Pretty Peacock in color DSP with a zig zagged ribbon in between.  For the side element I used the Wild Rose die.
I topped it all off with a sentiment from Free As A Bird.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Ombre Beach ~ FMS396, JAI465, Fusion, IBC

Hello there stampers!  Well, today's card is completely for fun!  It's been a long, long time since I've made a card that wasn't for one of the design teams that I'm on.  I saw a few challenges today and figured I'd play along.  I was able to combine quite a few, actually!
First, I was taken with the photo from Inspired By....Beach Day.  Next was Just Add Ink #465 which is just add season.  My season is summer, obviously!  Then I played along with Fusion Ombre challenge using hues of blue.  Lastly, I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #396.

To make my card I started off with my Waterfront stamp set.  I stamped a Crumb Cake sandy beach with some hills in the background.  Next, I stamped some water using Balmy Blue and Pacific Point.  I sponged more Balmy Blue and Pacific Point onto the sky.  I stamped the palm trees and bungalow in Night of Navy.  I cut the whole thing down using my Stitched Nested  Labels die.  I then ran the whole thing through my Big Shot with my Pinewood Planks 3D.  I stamped the Thank You banner on a left over strip of sponged sky.
To mimic the sketch, I added some strips of Wood Textures DSP and wrapped a bit of linen twine around each.  I also added twine to the main panel.
Lastly I popped the label up on dimensionals.

Stamps: Waterfront, Free As A Bird
Ink: Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake
Paper: White, Pacific Point, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories: Pinewood Planks 3D, Linen Thread

Bright Wild Rose ~ CCMC569

Hi there stampers!  This month over at Create with Connie and Mary is CASE month.  Each week we are casing a different card from the new catalog.  This weeks inspiration card is from page 132.  I was inspired by the bright, watercolored colors and layout.  I used my To A Wild Rose set, inked it with versamark, stamped it on watercolor paper, and embossed it with the new Shimmer White embossing powder.  I watercolored the blooms and leaves with my aquapainter and ink pads and then cut them out with the coordinating Wild Rose dies.  I layered all my pieces on a base of criss-crossed black glittered ribbon and white panel embossed with the Country Floral 3D EF.
I really love these vibrant colors together against the black and white.
Lastly, I cut a vellum panel with the Stitched Nested Labels die, along with "birthday" from Well Written dies.  I embossed the "birthday" with a few layers of Shimmer Black embossing powder which coordinated nicely with the shimmery ribbon!

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: To a Wild Rose, Well Said
Ink: Mango Melody, Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive, Versamark
Paper: watercolor, White, Vellum
Accessories: Stitched Nested Labels die, Wild Rose die, Well Written dies, Shimmer black ribbon, Country Floral 3D

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Beautiful Sympathy ~ CCMC568, TGIFC218, PP448

Hi there stampers!  Today's card is for Create With Connie and Mary Case the Catalog challenge #568.  I used a beautiful new set called Beautiful Friendship.  I loved the Pinewood Planks element on the original card and I knew I wanted to use that in my card.  I also kept with the floral theme and pink, except I added yellow so I could play along with the Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe challenge.  I used the diagonal elements of Ribbon, Yellow, and Wood.  I know I've mentioned before how much I love a tic-tac-toe challenge and always try to play along when I can.
I also incorporated TGIF Challenges sympathy challenge. I used Well Said with the coordinating Well Written dies to comply with the sympathy challenge.  I cut out the "sympathy" three times.... in  Rococo Rose, Crumb Cake, and Daffodil Delight.  I was trying to figure out which color would work best on the card.  After I decided on the Rococo Rose, I then decided to just layer all the words together to "build up" the sympathy die cut for added texture.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Beautiful Friendship, Well said
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Rococo Rose, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake
Paper: White, Daffodil Delight, Rococo Rose
Accessories: Pinewood Plank EF, Scallop Linen Ribbon, Well Written Die

Wild Rose Case ~ HSS318, GDP196

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for the pretty new color challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I used the Case The Designer challenge from Global Design Project to help me along with my design as well.

Since this set is still pretty new to me, I fussy cut all my flowers and leaves before remembering that it had coordinating dies!  Haha!  I guess I should keep the dies in the case like other stampers do!
Also, the sequins I used on this project are retired in-colors from several years ago.  I think they are Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe.  Remember the others that were "in" that year too.....Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana (which we have back again now).  I think those were my very favorite in-colors ever!
Anyway, the Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe sequins coordinate nicely with the Mint Macaron and Petal Pink!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: A Wild Rose, Beautiful Friendship
Ink: Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Black
Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron DSP
Accessories: Black bakers twine, retired in-color sequins

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
