Frosty Pinecones ~ HSS426, TGIF444

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments photo inspiration challenge.  I really don't have many pumpkin stamps, so I was excited to see pinecones.  I love pinecones and evergreen cards for Christmas, so that's the direction I went.  I wanted to bring in some of the white in the photos as well, so I kept the colors simple....Soft Seafoam and Pecan Pie.
I'm also playing with TGIF layered leaves challenge.  Do pine needles count as leaves?  I think so!
I'm actually in love with all the texture on this card. From the lace background, to the die cut pine boughs with chunky glitter.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Christmas Season, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Soft Seafoam, Pecan Pie
Paper: White
Accessories: Beautiful Boughs dies, Stitched Lace die, Pretty Pines dies, Ice Glitter, White Bakers Twine, Blending Brushes

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Joy and Peace Wreath ~ HSS425

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge.
This card combines new and old stuff.  New stuff is the Tartan Foil specialty paper, the sentiment from Night Divine, and the color Pebbled Path.  The old stuff is the wreath from Season Swirls dies (which I've had laying on my desk for over a year that was a cast off from another project), the Snowflake specialty vellum, and the elegant faceted gems.  I'm always happy when I can use up old stuff, although I do love using new stuff, too!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Sunset Lagoon ~ HSS424, GDP414

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments newest color challenge.  Our colors are Pebbled Path, Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, and Blackberry Bliss.
I also used the sketch from Global Design Project this week.

I've never been a huge fan of Calypso Coral or Blackberry Bliss, so I felt like this combo might be a bit of a challenge for me, but then I had the bright idea of using Coral and Blackberry as sunset colors!  The Lost Lagoon was perfect for a lake color and of course, Pebbled Path could be the sand/beach.  I watercolored my ink onto watercolor paper and the Blackberry Bliss came out on the pink side, but I promise you that I did use Blackberry Bliss!
I'm actually pleased with the way this scene came out!  I love the grassy edge and the birds standing in the water.  Sunset scenes are so much fun to create and so serene!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Wetlands, Very Best Occasions
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, Pebbled Path
Paper: Watercolor, Very Vanilla, Pebbled Path, Lost Lagoon
Accessories: Fern EF, bakers twine, Sweetly Stitched Dies

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
