Bells and Boughs ~ FMS60

This pretty little christmas card is for Freshly Made Sketches #60.  This is a fun and simple sketch that you could do anything with!
I decided to try my hand at watercoloring with the watercoloring brush I just got in my latest Stampin' Up shipment.  It was fun and quick!  After the image dried, I darkened up some areas with a marker.  I spritzed the main image panel with Shimmer mist, and again, I wish it would show up better in the pictures.  This accent totally makes the whole card special!
I knew I wanted to make the bells blue, so the color palette came together from there.  The Cherry Cobbler backround piece is one I had laying around my desk...a reject from another project.  I think it worked nicely for this one!  I love it when that happens!

I also adore the new christmas Festival Of Prints designer paper pack.  There are so many patterens to choose from!  This one happens to be leftovers from another card I made, only I used the other side.

Here's a list of the supplies I used....
Stamps: Bells and Boughs
Paper: Vanilla, Midnight Muse, Cherry Cobbler, Festival of Prints DP, Watercolor paper
Ink: Stazon Black, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Shimmer Mist spray, Scallop Circle die, Midnight Muse Satin Stitched ribbon, Snowflake EF

Thanks for taking a peek and have a cozy day!
