I had a friend ask me to make her a couple of cards that had flamingos on them...here is one that I came up with. I used the sketch from Retro Sketches 108, some elements from The Paper Players 189, and the color combo from Dynamic Duos 96.
I didn't own a flamingo stamp so I scoured the internet and found this one on Ebay. It's the yard ornament kind of flamingo. I thought it was pretty cute. The sentiment "Happy Bird-day" came from Pun Fun.
I obviously chose to pair Strawberry Slush with my Gumball Green for the Dynamic Duo Challenge. Those colors are so bright and cheerful together.
I was also excited to see the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge back at The Paper Players....I always think it's so much fun! I chose to do paper piecing, patterned paper, and ribbon or twin. I pieced the flamingo with Strawberry Slush DSP and used the ruffled ribbon as the ribbon/twine element.
