Warm Heart ~ CMCC54

Hey fellow stampers!  It's time for another Colour Me Card Challenge.....#54.  This week we have the striking duo of Pacific Point and Real Red.  Neutrals are also welcome.  I added in a little black with my duo.

All the papers I used (with the exception of the Pacific Point gingham pattern) are from the {Stacked With Love} DSP pack.  I created the gingham by using the retired {Gingham Wheel}.  I colored the
The Perfect Blend cup
with my blender pen and Pacific Point pad and then pieced the small heart pattern over the top.  The perfect sentiment comes from the new set {Sheltering Tree}.
As usual, please hop over to my fellow designers blogs and leave them some love on their creations!

Jenny Engelke (that's me)

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Perfect Blend, Sheltering Tree, Gingham wheel
Paper: White, Pacific Point, Stacked with Love DSP
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Pacific Point
Accessories: Heart punch, Corner Round punch

Christmas Coffee ~ MOJO319 & CCMC276

I spent the day with my sister in law, Jamie, the yesterday and she had on a cute outfit using these colors.  Here shirt was red and light gray striped and she paired it with a turquoise tank that peeked out the bottom of the shirt and topped it with a coordinating turquoise scarf.  I was so inspired by her outfit that couldn't wait to get home and make a card. And, I knew these were the same challenge colors over at Create with Connie and Mary this week!  LOVE it when that happens!  I looked for a sketch to use and settled on Mojo Monday 319
CCMC276

I did tweak the color a little and used Cherry Cobbler instead of Real Red.  I'm so pleased with the results!  I haven't had a chance to use my Perfect Blend set much and I think it works so well in a Christmas Card.  These colors are such fun and worked well with the stamp set.

I used the little snowflake from Snow Day stamped onto the Smokey Slate background and also used the saying "warm wishes" from that same set.  I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to place the words on the cup.  I also paper pieced the Coastal Cabana DSP onto the cup and colored the lid with my Smokey Slate marker.  A little Silver Glimmer paper and Frosted Finishes Embellishment add just the right amount of sparkle!

Here's a list of my supplies....

Stamps: Perfect Blend, Snow Day
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Smokey Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Season of Style & Costal Cabana DSP, Silver Shimmer
Ink: Black, Cherry Cobbler, Smokey Slate
Accessories: Frosted Finishes Embellishment, Scallop Border punch, Circle Framelits, Paper Piercing pack, Snowflake EF

Thanks a Latte ~ RS73

Although I've been stamping for several years now (17 to be exact), and I've been wooed by a few Stampin' Up Demonstrators in the past, I finally bit the bullet and became a demonstrator myself!!!  I am so excited!  My sister-in-law has been a demonstrator for a few years and has recently landed herself a full-time teaching job. She has made the decision to step away for demonstrating for a while.  It was the perfect opportunity for me to pick up where she left off.....after all, I was her best customer!
I chose this stamp set called "The Perfect Blend" as part of my kit.  I'm a sucker for anything coffee....I'm a big coffee drinker and lover!  I mixed in a few stamps (the heart and "a latte") from another of my favorite old coffee sets called "Like It A Latte".  The year on the set tells me it's from 2006.
Retro Sketches #73 was my main inspiration for this card.

I also used a couple of other new products on this card for the first time.  The Crumb Cake background is splattered with Gorgeous Grunge stamps and then dry embossed with my Alphabet Press EF.  I also added some punched chevrons from my brand new Chevron punch.

Stamps: The Perfect Blend, Gorgeous Grunge, Like it a Latte, Trendy Trees
Paper: Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Print Poetry and Festival of Prints DSP
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Soft Sky
Accessories: Chevron punch, Alphabet Press EF, Oval Famelit die, Neutrals button, Linen Thread
