Artistically Inked Get Well ~ HSS408, PP628, CTC407

Hi there stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments February color challenge.  We've got a pretty palette for you to play along with for the next two weeks.  I wanted to play along with a couple other challenges too, so I used a get well message as my sentiment for The Paper Players 628, and I also cased the carrot card in the Sale-A-Bration catalog for Casing the Catty 407.
The main panel of my card is 1/4 of a piece from a One Sheet Wonder I stamped.  What a fun way to make a bunch of cards.  I've been around the stamping world for a long, long time and had seen the OSW done years ago but I never jumped on the bandwagon.  I had recently seen a card done with it and figured there was no time like the present to give it a try.  I thought these colors lent themselves nicely to a floral OSW motif. I added in some Crumb Cake as a neutral.

Here's a list of my supples....
Stamps: Artistically Inked, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Paper: White, Country Gingham DSP, Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue
Accessories: Everything Fancy sequins, Linen Thread

Spanner Panel Leopard Print ~ HSS407

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #407.
So, anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE leopard print.  My wardrobe is full of it!  When the spring catalog came out the Like An Animal DSP jumped out at me right away.  I knew that would be one of my first purchases.
I paired it with the retired pink leopard DSP from last year's Pattern Party.
Also, when I saw this sketch, my mind immediately went to a spanner card.  This is definitely a match made in heaven and it was very fun to make!
I didn't add any other images other than the sentiment because I really wanted the paper to be the star of the show.
The sentiment (from Charming Sentiments) is embossed in gold and cut out with a couple layering hexagons....one's a retired punch and the other is a die from Something Fancy dies. The bow behind the sentiment is Ribbon from the retired Fine Art ribbon pack.

First Post for 2023! HSS405

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments first challenge of 2023!  We've got a beautiful, soft color challenge for you featuring Petal Pink, Pool Party, and Mango Melody.  I wasn't sure about the Mango Melody at first but I found a way to make it work!
I decided that these colors would lend themselves nicely to a wedding card.  I stamped a could of the images from Beautiful day in Gray Granite ink and colored them in sparingly with my blends.  After everything was colored I ran the main panel through my die cut machine with the Painted Texture EF.
I'm very pleased with the outcome!  I stamped the sentiment from the same set and cut it out with the new Something Fancy dies.  a pretty shimmery Pool Party ribbon and some In Color gems finish this card off.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Beautiful Day
Ink: Petal Pink, Pool Party, Mango Melody blends; Gray Granite & Petal Pink
Paper: Petal Pink, White, and Gray Granite
Accessories: Pool Party shimmmer ribbon, In Color gems, Painted Texture EF, Something Fancy dies

Oh Holy Night ~ HSS403

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #403.  I have to say that photo inspiration challenges are among my favorite to participate in!  There's always so many directions to go!  I was inspired by the nativity photo.
I started with a piece of Misty Moonlight and stamped various star images on it from So Many Stars.  I embossed with white embossing powder and then used my blender brush to brush on some Night of Navy ink around the edges.  The white embossed parts must be wiped off with a cloth after blending.  I used Going Gray and Whisper White as coordinating colors for this card.  I also played around with the off-set corner mount for a little bit of added interest.  I finished the card off with a beautiful sentiment from the stamp set stamped in Going Gray ink on a label cut from the Tasteful Labels dies.  Some polka dot tulle ribbon and Metallic Mesh ribbon tucked behind the sentiment and a few rhinestone finish it all off.

Peaceful Deer in the Aspen ~ HSS402

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for November.  Cherry Cobbler, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen are the colors for the week.
I chose to go with a nature theme and used several stamps from Peaceful Deer and added in the Aspen Trees die.
The deer and rabbit were colored with blends and fussy cut out.  I stamped and embossed a few snowflakes above the aspens.
I kept thinking I should add something more, like a ribbon or some other accessory, but ultimately decided against it.  Less is more.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Fancy Leopard and Snowflake Christmas ~ HSS401; PP615

Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge #401 and all I can say is I LOVE THIS!  I have been waiting to use these particular items for ages and ages.  I was going through my scraps one day and came across the silver snowflake, the pink scalloped circle, the other snowflakes and the pink leopard print paper.  The oval is also an extra piece from an old project.  I just love, love, love how this came together!!! The baubles from For Everything Fancy Sequins surround the sentiment and boy, do they do their job!  They certainly make things fancy!!!!
I'm also playing with The Paper Players Tic Tac Toe challenge.  I'm going diagonal using metallic, texture, and stitching.  The metallic is obvious, but there's a ton of texture going on with this card. The large white snowflake is cut from velvet paper.  More texture comes by way of the Evergreen embossed background and the sequins.  The stitched part is in the die cut oval.

Thanks for taking a look and have a blessed day!
