I have an anouncement today that I am just giddy about! I was selected to be on the Dynamic Duos Design Team! My term runs for six months and I am more than excited to be a part of this fun challenge blog! Here's a list of the other designers...be sure to check out their blogs too!
Jenny Engelke (me)
Now onto my card. The challenge this week is to use Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple.
I chose to go with one of my new stamps, Christmas Deer. I inked him up in basic black, stamped him on a die cut from Apothecary Accents, and added the ornaments in Gumball and Raspberry, using my stamp-a-majig for perfect placement. I fussy cut the little birdie and set him on top of the antlers. I added some snow in the form of blue chalk and topped it with some sparkles. The ornaments have glitter also.
I ran a peice of black cardstock through my Big Shot using the new Holiday Frame EF, and used dimentionals to pop up the main image over the top of the frame. Some scalloped edging and a Gumball Green bow pull the whole thing together.
Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Christmas Deer
Paper: Raspberry Ripple, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Basic Black
Accessories: Appothecary Accents die, Accents paper piercing pack, Holiday Frame EF, Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon, Scalloped border punch, Dazzling Diamonds, Chalk
Thanks for taking a peek at my very first post as a DD Design Team member! Have a fabulous day!
