Copper Dashing Deer ~ CCMC537, WWYS195, SSC192

Good morning stampers and Happy Thanksgiving!
Today I'm posting my design team card for Create With Connie and Mary Challenge #537 color challenge.  Our colors this week are Tranquil Tide, Gray Granite and Copper.
I've also incorporated What Will You Stamp challenge #195 by using the Dashing Deer set as well as the Detailed Deer Thinlits, and the sketch from Sunday Stamps #192.

Tranquil Tide has been one of my favorite greens to use on Christmas cards this year and when paired with the nice neutral of Gray Granite and the elegant Copper Foil, everything just shines!

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Dashing Deer, Snow is Glistening
Ink: Gray Granite
Paper: Joyous Noel glimmer, Joyous Noel specialty, Gray Granite, Copper Foil, Tranquil Tide
Accessories: Snowfall thinlits, Detailed Deer thinlits, Pretty Pines thinlits, Stitched Shapes framelits, Frost White shimmer paint, Rhinestone

Blue Christmas ~ HSS303

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #303.  I chose to be inspired by the wintery looking picture in the top right corner.
I wish you could see all the sparkle going on on this card.  The trees are cut from glimmer paper, the snowflakes are sprayed with White Frost shimmer spritz, and the marbled shimmer background has Champagne Shimmer paint in it too!  It's very simple, but so shimmery! The link for the Marbled Shimmer background technique is linked in my last blog post, so you can check it out there!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Remembering Christmas
Ink: Night of Navy, Champagne Shimmer paint
Paper: Gloss White, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Sparkle glimmer
Accessories: Snowfall Thinlits die, Blizzard Thinlits die, In The Woods Framelits die, rhinestone

We hope you can play along with us at HSS!
Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Marbled Snowflake Blessings ~ CCMC536, WWC196, ATSM218

Hey there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #536.  It's sketch week.  I saw this really cool technique video by Robin Cardon at mypinkstamper.com on how to make this fun marbled shimmer background using rubbing alcohol, re-inkers, and shimmer paint.  It was super fun to do...you should totally try it!  She used glossy cardstock in her tutorial and I tried that too, and it looked great, but I experimented a bit more and just used regular white cardstock which is the piece I ended up using on this card.  I chose Night of Navy re-inker and Champagne Shimmer paint for his sample.  You can't really see the shimmer in the photo, but trust me, it's amazing!

I'm also entering my card in Watercooler Wednesday's Occasions challenge, and of course my occasion is Christmas, and also Addicted to Stamps and More Holiday challenge.

For the snowflakes on my card, I sponged Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue ink onto White cardstock and then cut out the snowflakes with the Blizzard Thinlits die.  I spritzed them with some shimmer spray to make them extra sparkly, too!
The Blueberry Bushel background piece is embossed with my Cable Knit TIEF.

I decorated the inside with a strip of the left over marbled background paper.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Christmas Pines
Ink: Night of Navy re-inker, Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue
Paper: Whisper White, Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel
Accessories: Blizzard Thinlits die, Cable Knit TIEF, a cotton ball, rubbing alcohol, Champagne Shimmer paint, Clear faceted gems, silver thread

Snow Is Glistening Joy ~ CCMC535

Hello stampers!  This wonderful little creation is for Create with Connie and Mary's newest color challenge.  Sometimes I love the color combos and sometimes they really challenge me!  The one was a challenge.  I knew I wanted to use my new Snow Is Glistening set and came up with about 3 or 4 versions of this card before I finally settled on this!  I'm actually pleased with the way it came out and looking at it now, I think the colors are kinda cool together!
I'm also using Inkspire Me's sketch #375

I just love the Navy gingham ribbon but haven't used it on many projects, so I determined that this one would have it!  I think the bow adds so much to the card!
Go ahead and take a gander at my fellow design team's creations over at Create With Connie and Mary's blog.  What a talented group of ladies!
We'd love to have you participate in the challenge with us.  Just follow the link on the blog page and upload your card or project to the facebook page!

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Snow is Glistening
Paper: Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Mint Macaron, Whisper White
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, White Craft
Accessories: Navy gingham ribbon, Snowfall Thinlits, Layering Circles die, Subtle TIEF, White embossing power

CAS Fall Thanks ~ HSS302, PP417, FF0020

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for our new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  It's a color challenge this time and uses Merry Merlot, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie.  To me, it says fall leaves.  I decided to take the clean and simple route by masking off a section of my Whisper White card front and sponging on each one of the challenge colors.  I then stamped leaves from Painted Harvest in the coordinating colors.
After removing the mask, I ran it through the Big Shot using the woodland embossing folder--first on one side of the masked image and then the other.  I laid two strips of Gold Foil paper on each side colored area to give it a little glitz.  I finished things off with a wooden button, a couple leaves punched with the leaf punch (snipped to be smaller), gold embossed sentiment banner, and a simple gold metallic cord tied into a bow.
I thought this all fit nicely into the Paper Players Challenge #447, and Festive Friday #0020

Farmhouse Plaid Dashing Deer ~ CCMC534, JUGS464

Hello there stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #534 sketch.  I also used the inspiration photo from Just Us Girls #464.  I was inspired by the colors, the stars, and if you look closely you can see little deer figurines on the plates.
I started by stamping the card base and a scrap piece of Real Red with the Buffalo Check stamp in Real Red ink.  I cut a circle from the scrap and backed it with a scalloped layering circles die cut.
The bottom Gray Granite panel is embossed with my Pinewood Planks TIEF.  I layered a piece from the Festive Farmhouse DSP pack on top.  The deer was stamped in Real Red and die cut with the coordinating die from the Detailed Deer Thinlits.  I also die cut a red glimmer swirly corner piece from the same thinlit set, cut it apart and arranged it around the neck of the deer.  I topped it with a gold pearl, as well as placed two gold pearls below the circle.
The whole thing was finished off with the Christmas Wishes banner.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Dashing Deer, Buffalo Check
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Gray Granite, Festive Farmhouse DSP, Whisper White
Accessories: Detailed Deer Thinlits, Gold pearls, Layering Circles Framelits
