Springtime Cup ~ TCC87, TTTC37, CTD482, MTS218

Hey stampers!  Today's card isn't for one of the sites I design for...can you believe it!  I actually had time to sit and stamp for fun.  Well, not that stamping for a design team isn't fun, because it is!!!  Anyway, I was browsing my reading list on my blog and found several challenges I wanted to participate in.  First is The Card Concept {Freshly Brewed} #87 where they had a beautiful inspiration photo. I used the coffee cup and flowers as well as the wood table as inspiration for my card.  The second challenge I wanted to participate in was the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #37.  I love a tic tac toe challenge because it gives you lots of options.  I chose to go with Floral, Gold, and Sequins.  The third challenge I'm playing with is Color Thowdown #482.  The challenge there is to use Pink, Kraft, and Gray.  This challenge matched up so nicely with the Card Concept challenge.  And the last challenge I'm including is Match The Sketch #218.  So, that's four challenges!  I love it!!!

I used the new Spingtime Florals DSP that is available in the second release items for Sale-a-bration.  This paper can be yours for free with a $50 purchase!  It's simply gorgeous and has some beautiful designs in it.  I colored the flower on the DSP with my Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Blends markers.  I filled in the background with the Smokey Slate Blends.  Then I positioned the tea cup die from the retired Cups and Kettle Framelits set over the flower where I wanted it and ran it through the big shot.  I wanted to add some gold around the rim to make it look like one of the fancy china teacups, so I masked the rim off with a post-it note, inked the area with some versa mark and then added the gold embossing powder.  I did the same with the base and handle.
For the wood background I inked the raised side of my Pinewood Planks EF with my brayer and Basic Gray ink. I laid the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock in there and ran it through the big shot.  I also sponged the edges with a little ink as well.
I also ran the Pink Pirouette strip through the Big Shot with the new Basket Weave EF.  It's such a cool embossing folder and I LOVE the texture it gives.  I have to say that these new dynamic embossing folders are among my favorite accessories that Stampin Up has put out!
Some gold infused ribbon, a lace doily, some sequins and a cute little tea tag finish out this cute card.

Here's a list of my supplies....
