Rustic Sunflower ~ HSS224

Hello everyone!  It's Hand Stamped Sentiments time again!  This time we've got a rich trio of autumnal colors.  Aren't they beautiful together!
I decided to go the sunflower-ish route.
I used a much neglected and now retired stamp set called {Build a Blossom}.  It coordinates with the Blossom Builder punch.  I stamped out each blossom in Delightful Dijon ink on the same color cardstock and punched each one out.  I added a Mossy Meadow circle to the center of the flower and then accessorized with a gold button and linen thread.

The Burlap ribbon and Early Espresso embossed woodgrain background add a rustic feel to this card.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Five Petal Build a Blossom - CQC146 & SSC265

Today's card comes to you from Colour Q 146, and Saturday Sketch Challenge 265 over at the Stamping 411 Blog.

Colour Q wants us to use Red, Pear, Kraft, Black and White.  I used a minimal amount of kraft.  The center of the flower is inked with Crumb Cake and I sponged some more Crumb Cake around the tiny banner.  I love the red, green and black together.  I also got a chance to play with my new Polka Dot Parade DP.  It's all so cute!  I love, love, love polka dots.

Here's a list of supplies I used....
Stamps: Build a Blossom
Paper: Black, White, Polka Dot Parade and In Color DP
Ink: Real Red, Pear Pizzaz, Crumb Cake, Black
Accessories: Build a Blossom Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, Square Lattice EF, Framelits Labels die, Framelits Bitty Banners die

This cute little birdie card was made for Our Creative Corner: How Green is Your Spring?  The challenge was to make a papercraft using green as a main color.  I purchased this sweet table runner from Hobby Lobby this spring, and it had me brimming with inspiration.  This challenge was perfect for this project!  Here's a pic of my inspiration piece....
I love how the wing of the bird is a leaf.  I used my Build A Blossom stamp set and punched a leaf/wing with the Build A Blossom punch.
Here's a closer look at the card.

This card is for Create with Connie and Mary Sketch Challenge 192 and Colour Q 197.  The color combo this week was Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip, and Certainly Celery.  I havn't used my Build A Blossom set very many times and was looking for a project for it.  I browsed some of the challenges for the week and bingo!  The color combo was perfect for the flower and I loved the sketch.....it also game me a chance to incorporate the paper doily, which I havn't used that many times either.
