Knit Together Snowflakes ~ CCMC687

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's sketch challenge.
I wanted to create something with the snowflake Adorning Designs decorative mask and embossing paste.  After I applied the paste on Smokey Slate cardstock, I sprinkled it with a bit of fine iridescent  glitter to add some sparkle.  The main panel is cut from the knit sweater dies in Blushing Bride and White, and the snowflakes are topped with an opal round in the center of each.  The background is stamped with the Knit Together background stamp in Blushing Bride ink.  The Organdy White ribbon I used is retired but there is some similar glittered organdy ribbon in the current catalog.

Winter Bear Cool Friend ~ HSS375, GDP314, IB191C

Today's card for Hand Stamped Sentiments cool color combo of Misty Moonlight, Rich Razzleberry, and Smokey Slate, also takes in the sketch from Global Design Project, and the inspiration from Inspired by...
My card this week uses many retired products.  I actually like it when I can use some of my old stash to make new cards!  The Smokey Slate DSP is from several Christmas's ago, but I still had a few bits and pieces.  The velvet ribbon is a couple years old, as well, but I felt like it was a cool texture to add to this wintery card.  The other DSP is just slighty out of date as it only retired a couple weeks ago.  I was really sorry to see this DSP go because it coordinates so perfectly with the Penguin Place set.

I think this fun sentiment from the Penguin Place set is so fun and cute.  On the inside of the card it says Happy Birthday.

Thanks Ever So Much Leaves ~ CCMC686

For this week's color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary I used the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and coordinating Intricate Leaves die set.  I also used some of the new cork specialty paper, which is so organic and pairs nicely with the leaves.  I also used the Macramé EF.  I love the look of it, too!  It's quickly becoming one of my favorites!
I'm a sucker for a bit of shimmer and shine, so of course I couldn't do without a little touch of gold foil paper as well as a few gold sequins and gold cord.
My layout was inspired by Mary Deatherage's card which you can see here.

Bloom Sympathy ~ CCMC685, GDP312

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for the sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary this week.  I'm really liking the banner design rather than a plain old rectangle!
My card was also influenced by the CASE the Designer challenge at Global Design Project.  I was inspired by the colors, the flowers, the clean and simple design, and the brick background.
I combined white and shimmer white cardstock to get a two-tone white look.  I really like the way it turned out!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Inspired Thoughts, Art in Bloom
Ink: Black Memento, Blushing Bride, Cinnamon Cider, Poppy Parade, Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: White, Shimmer White
Accessories: Elegant faceted gems, Flowers for Every Season Ribbon, Tasteful Textiles and Brick & Mortar EF, Bloom dies, Stitched So Sweetly dies

Sparkle of the Season Autumn ~ HSS374

Hey stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments October Sketch Challenge.  Don't you just love the colors of fall?  So rich!  I used the Sparkle of the Season bundle to make this card, as well as the sentiments from Inspired Thoughts.  I just love the font in this set.  I felt like the wreath was the perfect match for this sketch.  A little patch of the Playful Patterns DSP as well as the Knit Together background stamp make this all feel cozy.  I added a bit of gold foil paper under the sentiment strip to tie in with the gold gems.

Sparkle of the Season ~ CCMC684, PP560

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's fun, new color challenge for the week.  We're using Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and any 21-23 In-Color of your choosing.  I chose to use Evening Evergreen.  I just purchased the Sparkle of the Season and Seasonal Swirls dies and was anxious to use them.  The evergreen sprig and pinecones were the perfect fit for this challenge I felt.  To help me out with my card I turned to the sketch from The Paper Players 560.  For the three blocks on the sketch I pulled out my textures and frames stamp set from Sale-a-bration.  I stamped the evergreen sprig right over the top of it and then ran the very vanilla panel through the big shot with my Macrame EF.  I'm really loving this texture!
The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts.

Peaceful Trees ~ CCMC683

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Create with Connie and Mary's first card sketch for September.

I decided to go Christmas-y with this layout and use the trees from Majestic Mountain dies combined with the Peaceful Prints DSP.  I love the traditional Christmas feel of the colors, plaid, and even the dotted green that reminds me of teeny tiny snowflakes.
I added a couple black sequins and some mini pearls that I colored Real Red with my blends marker.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
