Beautiful Bunch Bouquet ~ HSS312, AYSI197

Hello stampers!  Today's card is my design team card for Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge #312 featuring Call Me Clover, Flirty Flamingo, and Lovely Lipstick.  I also used the sketch from As You See It #197 for inspiration.

I achieved the variation in color in my flowers by stamping off once before stamping a few of the flowers.  I love the difference this makes!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet, Jar of Love, Needle and Thread
Ink: Call Me Clover, Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick
Paper: White
Accessories: Bouquet Bunch framelits, Everyday Jars framelits, Linen Thread, Pearls, Stitched Rectangle framelits

Mr. & Mrs. Shower Card ~ CCMC524

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for the latest sketch challenge at Create with Connie and Mary.  I needed a nice wedding shower card for my soon to be daughter in law, so I created this {Jar of Love} bouquet.  The soft, pretty colors mimic the wedding colors.  The wedding of my oldest son and his fiance is next weekend (September 1) and I can't wait!  It seems like we waited a long time for this day to get here and now it's right upon us! We are very, very excited for the whole event!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Jar of Love, Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake, Mint Macron, Balmy Blue, Gray Granite, Pool Party
Paper: Gray Granite, Tropical Escape and Wood Textures DSP, Whisper White, Vellum
Accessories: Bouquet Bunch and Everyday Jar Framelits, Linen Thread, Polka Dot tulle ribbon, Blushing Bride ribbon, Artisan pearls

Fresh Fig Jar ~ CCMC489, GDP118

Hello stampers!  Another week has come and gone...can you believe Christmas is right around the corner?  In just a few days we'll be celebrating the birth of our Savior, having Christmas dinner, and spending time with family!  What a wonderful time of year!
But right now we've got a new Create with Connie and Mary challenge at hand...a color challenge!  Look at these fresh, soft colors.  They remind me of spring, which is the next season to look forward to!  I decided to go with that spring theme and do some pretty fig flowers in a jar.  I mixed in the sketch from Global design project to help me along with my design team card.

Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you can find a little time in the hectic holiday season to play along with our challenge this week!
Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Rusty jar of Fall Flowers ~ CCMC481, GDP110

Hey there stampers! Today begins another weekly challenge for Create with Connie and Mary. These are gorgeous fall colors, aren't they?
I also used the sketch from Global Design Project to help me complete my card for this week.

I'm such a huge fan of rustic.  I just love the way the jar looks like the ones that are painted with the chalk paint.  The wood textures designer paper makes the perfect backdrop to the rustic jar and fall flowers.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Thanks Fabulous Flamingo ~ CCMC466, SIP107

Hey everybody!  Create with Connie and Mary sketch time again!  Join us for cool sketch challenge #466 by uploading your creation to the CCMC facebook page.
I have really enjoyed playing with the Fabulous Flamingo ever since it arrived in my new goodies box!  The first moment I saw this image I knew it would be at the top of my wish list.  I don't know what it is, I just like it a lot!
I used the fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge #107 over at Stamp Ink Paper to help me along in my creation.  I used across the middle - Green, Embossed, Pink.

I've been a huge fan of the Dynamic Textured Impression Folders since the first Cable Knit one came out last year.  When they introduced a couple new ones in the new catalog I made sure I got each one!  The super embossed ruffles on this one look awesome with this stamp set, don't you think?
Also, the iridescent sequins could not be a better match!  They were another new product I was thrilled about!

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Fabulous Flamingo, Jar of Love
Ink: Powder Pink, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Tempting Turquoise, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist
Paper: Whole Lot of Lovely DSP, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, White, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Everyday Jars Thinlits, Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions folder, iridescent sequins

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Jar of Love Fireflies ~ HSS267, PP350

Hello Stampers!  It's time for a Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge and look at this festive trio we've got this time!  I used the sketch for The Paper Players #350 to help me along with my card.
When I first saw the new color Lemon Lime Twist I didn't think I'd use it much....turns out I love it!  What a fun, summery, bright, cheerful color!  I just love it as the light on the fireflies butts!  Isn't that just so cute?!?!

I embossed the lid of the jar with silver embossing powder and tied it together with a few silver sequins.  I really love the way this came out.  We will be celebrating my nieces 17th birthday today and this card is going to her.  I know she'll love it!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!
As always I appreciate and enjoy reading your comments!

Fresh Jar of Love ~ HSS263, SS441

Hello stampers and welcome to my blog featuring the newest challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments!  We have a picture inspiration for you to play along with this time and oh, isn't it refreshing and cool looking!  It makes me want summer to get here quick!
I was inspired by the colors in the photos and used my new set {Jar of Love}.  I know, I know, I'm really late to the party with this set!  I noticed it was not retiring so I figured I should finally own it, along with the matching framelits.  It was so fun to play with and I had a great time creating this card.
I usually like to find a sketch or another source of inspiration when creating, so I used Sketch Saturday's challenge #441 which was a sketch archive challenge.  You can browse through any of their archived sketches and pick the one that suits you!  I chose a sketch from October 2014 #330.

This card also features two important colors.  One brand new in-color and one out going in-color.
The outgoing is Watermelon Wonder, which I used to stamp the dark accent on the large flower.  I'll miss this color as it works as the perfect dark accent to Flirty Flamingo.  The second is the brand new Lemon Lime Twist.  I wasn't sure about this color when I first saw it but oh my, is it ever fun!  It's nice and bright and fresh!
I've used a strip of Lemon Lime Twist DSP from the new Eastern Palace specialty paper pack.  It pairs perfectly with these bright, summery colors of Flirty Flamingo and Tempting Turquoise.

I hope you'll play along with us at Hand Stamped Sentiments and remember, this challenge runs for two weeks!
