Sweet Moody Mauve ~ HSS417, GDP400

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments photo inspiration challenge.  

I chose to be inspired by the ice cream cone, but used some color from the grape picture.  

I don't own any current stamp sets with any of these items in them so I turned to a really old Sale-A-Bration set called Honeycomb Happiness.  It's a very simple design.  

I'm also participating in the Global Design Project Case the Designer Challenge.  I'm casing the lime card's layout.

Seasonal Branches Wedding ~ HSS416, SSC311

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge #416.  I also used the color combo from Sunday Stamps Challenge #311.  I used all the colors except the red.  

I needed another wedding card, (it's obviously wedding season!) and I this new set was perfect for the theme.  The "love birds" are perfect for a wedding.  The set only has one bird, but to get the mirror image, I stamped it on my silicone craft sheet and then laid the sheet on the paper.  

I watercolored all the images.

Today's card is for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #528.  I love the clustered flower look!  This is a wedding card going to a beautiful, young couple!

Nacho Average Friend ~ HSS415 AHC527

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge 415.  

I'm late to the party purchasing the Taco Fiesta set, so this is brand new to me.  I thought it would be fun to pair this set with these colors and I think it turned out so cute!

The sketch for my card coordinates with Atlantic Hearts challenge 527.

Grad Cap ~ HSS413

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge #413.  

My youngest son is graduating from high school this month so I'm in desperate need of all things graduation right now and this sketch fit the bill for me!  When I saw the diamond, I knew I could make it a graduation cap!

I had already pre-cut a bunch of 23's from the Number of Year's dies.  Their colors are red, black and white, so that was a given on choice of colors to use, and I always feel like adding a little gold in there adds some class.   

The "you did it" sentiment is from Round of Applause and the "congratulations" is from Charming Sentiments.

I made the tassel out of some bakers twine that I've had for a really long time.

Forever Fern Bliss ~ HSS412, AYSI296

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for April.  Our colors are Pool Party, Blackberry Bliss, and Mint Macaron.  

I chose to use mainly Blackberry Bliss with some hints of Mint and Pool.  

I also used the sketch from As You See It #296

This card came together super quick and is going to a friend who went out of her way to help me out this weekend!

Spring Tulips for Mom ~ HSS411, GDP388

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments April photo inspiration challenge.  I chose to be inspired by the bottom left photo with the tulips.  I used an old set from several years ago called Tranquil Tulips.  I also used some inspiration from the CASE challenge over at Global Design Project.  

I stamped the tulips in Flirty Flamingo and Polished Pink along with Parakeet Party stems and leaves, on watercolor paper.  I used my aquapainter brush to go over all the tulips to make them look more watercolored.  I added some little daffodil delight flowers to add some extra color.  After the flowers dried, I brushed on some Bashful Blue with my small blender brush all over the panel and around the flowers.  I added a layer of Tahitian Tide around the edge to darken the top of the blue sky a little.  

I flicked water over the entire front panel after blending the blue inks to lift some of the ink off where the droplets landed.  I just like this look. 

The sentiments are from Well Written dies and Thoughtful Banners.

I finished off the card by added a few In Color Jewels.
