Sparkle Snowflake Gift Box ~ CCMC334

Don't you just love a dressed up gift?  The Tag a Bag gift boxes are so easy to put together and fun to decorate.  I used this week's color combo from Create With Connie and Mary 334.

CCMC334

I love the nice, wide striped grosgrain ribbon for these boxes.  It makes a simple, big statement!
My son's girlfriend is receiving this gift and I know she'll appreciate the box just as much as the gift!

For some reason this photo keeps loading sideways....I can't seem to get it straitened out, but you get the idea!
Here's a list of my supplies....

Ink: none
Paper: All is Calm DSP, Silver Glimmer, White, Cherry Cobbler, Smokey Slate

Case This Color Throwdown ~ CTS103 & CTD322

This card is for CASE This Sketch 103 and Color Throwdown 322.

I started with a piece of Trim the Tree DSP that closely matched the colors of Color Throwdown.  To make the 3-D poinsettia I punched out a bunch of petals from the Blossom Builder punch, scored a line down the middle of each one and gave them a little dimension.  I then built them up around a large glue dot.  I kept layering until I thought it looked good.

The "Very Merry" sentiment I add is very hard to see in the photo, especially with the shadow cast by the flower. :)

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: And Many More
Ink: Soft Sky
Paper: Garden Green, Real Red, Crisp Cantaloupe, Trim the Tree and Winter Frost DSP
Accessories: Silver metal button, Stitched white ribbon, In color sequins, Blossom Builder punch

It's All About the Banner ~ SSC90

This card is for Sunday Stamps Challenge 90, which is a fun sketch this week.

It's all about the banner and I chose to go with the fun Christmas designer papers from the Trim the Tree stack.  This card came together super fast....it would be a good one to mass produce.  The corduroy button is an oldie but a goodie from days gone by.  I really loved those buttons and brads!  The "Merry" expressions thinlit adds a nice layer and ties together with the Christmas Wishes sentiment from Oranmental Pine.

Here's a list of my supplies...

Stamps: Ornamental Pine
Ink: Garden Green
Paper: White, Trim The Tree DSP
Accessories: White bakers twine, Expressions Thinlits, Corduroy brad

Joy to the World in Silver and Gold

December is flying by in a flash already!  Is everyone ready for Christmas?  We are in the middle of a major kitchen remodel, so my house is in disarray and we have no Christmas decorations up at all.  I've been busy in my stamping space creating lots and lots of cards for a relative to sell at a craft show.  They are trying to raise money to adopt a baby (or babies) from Ethiopia.  This is my donation, of sorts. Anyway, here's one I created and it plays along with The Friday Mashup 188, Stamping Royalty 257, The Paper Players 225, and Merry Monday 138!

Stamping Royalty asked us to use a favorite stamp set.  I chose {Come To Bethlehem} because I just love the message behind it.  I really like the silhouetted image too.

The Friday Mashup and Merry Monday are all about silver and gold.  Merry Monday asks to add one more color to the mix, and my added color is black.  The Paper Players challenges us to make a fancy holiday project.  To me, you can't get more fancy than silver and gold, plus there are tons of elements that make it black tie like the silver gimmer, heat embossing, frosted finishes snowflake, the sequins and the gold metallic ribbon.  The font on the sentiment also adds a touch of class.

Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Come to Bethlehem, Joy to the World
Ink: Versamark
Paper: Very Vanilla, Black, Silver Glimmer, and Newsprint DSP
Accessories: gold sequin trim, Frosted Finishes, rhinestone, gold EP, 1/4" gold ribbon.
