Coral Symapathy ~ CQC183

I made this card for ColourQ Challenge 183.  It's a sympathy card for a friend of mine who lost her mother.  I've had to make so many Sympathy card for myself and others lately.  I hate to think about it, but I know people appreciate the thought and a handmade card.  I still have a few more to make and I want to make sure each one is special.
I loved the color combo over at CQC this week.  I simply adore Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride together....it's a match made in heaven.  When I first started stamping, SU had a color called Cameo Coral and I didn't care for it.  Now my style and tastes have changed and I love it and the newer Calypso.

Here's a list of my supplies....
Stamps: Apothecary Art, Elements of Style
Paper: Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla Everyday Enchantment DP, Watercolor
Ink: Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Stazon Black
Accessories: Labels framelits die, Antique brad, Vintage faceted button, Flower trim, Paper doily, pearls

Birthday Richness - CCMC206 & MOJO245

Another dual challenge upload for me today!  This one is for Create With Connie and Mary Color Challenge 206 & Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge 245.

2012 Create Challenges-022
I am so pleased with the way this turned out!  The colors look so rich together.  I used my stamp pads and blender pen to color the flowers with Cherry Cobbler and the leaves Island Indigo.  I used Crumb Cake and outlined the whole image.  I chose to use black as my neutral and I love the way it adds a sophistication to the whole look.  The backround designer paper is from a retired pack called Bella Bleu.

Here's a list of supplies I used.....
Stamp: Apothecary Art
Paper: Black, Bella Bleu DP, Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Watercolor paper
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Stazon Black
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Black stripped ribbon, Floral Fusion die, Latte button, Corner Rounder punch, Framelits Labels die

Framelits For You *MOJO 221*

Today's card comes from Mojo Monday Sketch 221.

I chose to use the round sketch, something I hardly ever do.  In fact, I think I've only made one or two round cards in my stamping life!  What fun though!  I teach an adult ed stamping class at our local high school and I think this will be one of the cards we make in the class coming up.
Here are the supplies I used.....
Stamps: Apothecary Art
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Everyday Enchantment DP (Sale-a-bration), Vanilla
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Stazon Black
Accessories: Framelits die, Nestabilities Scallop Circle die, Circle punch and die, Blushing Bride pleated satin ribbon (occasions mini), sizzlit leaf die, embosslits butterfly, basic pearls
