For Everything Fancy CASE HSS400

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments photo inspiration challenge.  I chose to be inspired by the colors of the gourds and pumpkins. 

 I had seen a post on Instagram a while ago that used the For Everything Fancy sequins, only her card was in hues of  blues and tans.  I loved the use of the sequins down the one side, so I decided to case her card.  I wish I could remember who this gal was so I could give her credit....her card was so, so beautiful! I have a screenshot of it below, but no name to go with it. You are so very talented, whoever you are!

Wishing you Everything Wonderful ~ HSS399, TTTC181, PP611, CTC389

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge for the month of October.  They are fall-ish colors or could go Halloween too, I suppose.  

I had lots and lots of inspiration for this challenge.  First I started with Casing the Catty's bundle case challenge.  I cased a card from page 38 that features the Charming Sentiments bundle.

I also used the Tic Tac Toe challenge down the right side: Autumn Colors, Enamel dots or gems, and Ink blending.  Lastly I used the theme challenge from The Paper Players: Changing Seasons.  Their challenge inspiration photo held some of the same colors as our color challenge this week....a match made in heaven!

Playing With Leftovers ~ HSS398

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments newest card sketch challenge.  I've had some of these leftovers laying around on my desk for quite some time.  In fact the only thing I cut for this card was the card base and the background DSP.  Everything else was already cut and stamped.  

The flowers were stamped and cut with Pretty Perennials, the gold holy leaves are cut from Seasonal Swirls dies. The sentiment is from Rustic Retreat. I really kinda like the way it came together!

Today's project is for Hand Stamped Sentiments Photo Inspiration challenge.  I chose to be inspired by the cup of coffee.  I love the knit blanket in the photo.  I also was inspired by Tic Tac Toe Challenge using Yellow, Leaves/Trees, and Pumpkin.  I'm also joining in on the Paper Players Fall Theme challenge and Global Design Project Fall/Autumn theme.

Happiness Abounds Re-do ~ GDP357

Hey there stampers!  Today's card is a re-do of my card from my last post.  If you recall, I had the idea after my card was completed to use a mask and blend some ink over the white space on the main panel.  I wanted to try it, so I recreated the card only this time I used the colors from Global Design Project.  After all is said and done I think I like both cards!  I'm usually not one that likes a lot of unused space, so this card worked for me.  Now that I'm thinking about it, I should have made a mask with the die cut that comes with the Happiness Abounds die set......gosh, ideas, ideas!  Maybe I'll try one more!!! haha!

Fall Happiness Abounds Sympathy ~ HSS396

Hello stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments August color challenge using a nice fall-ish combo of Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry, and Bermuda Bay.  

I colored up a bunch of flowers from my Happiness Abounds set in Calypso Coral blends and Rich Razzleberry blends.  The flowers were so soft and pretty in this layout that I thought a sympathy sentiment might go nicely.  The sentiments are from Very Best Occasions featured in the mini catalog. 

 Do you ever look at your finished card and then have a brilliant idea that could have stepped it up a notch?  That's what happened to me with this one.  After it was all finished I wished I had softly sponged a ink over a mask to fill in the left side of the main panel.  I may have to try this card again, maybe in different colors, and use a stencil.

Be Cool Penguin ~ HSS395, GDP355

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge for the month of August.  I used the animal theme from Global Design Project to help me along with my card today.  I chose to use the cute little penguin set called Penguin Place. I used the four skinny columns in the sketch as shaker windows and filled them with blue sequins from the For Everything Fancy sequin set.  I also love the fun Polished Pink and Tahitian Tide color combo.  A little bit of Daffodil Delight for the penguins feet and beak, and some Granny Apple Green on the trees help break up the colors a bit.
