Go Confidently Grad ~ Mojo291, PPA158, & FM108

Good morning stampers! I made this card for Mojo Monday 291, Pals Paper Arts 158 & The Friday Mashup 108.
Mojo Monday was one of the other sketch challenges I wanted to participate in this week.  I guess I love a sketch with banners.  When I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to make an accordian rosette (that's what I'm calling it, because I don't know the technical term right now and am too lazy to look it up!) for the main circle part.  I need lots and lots of graduation cards right now, so The Friday Mashup was a perfect fit.  The color palette at PPA was right up my alley too.  I seem to be gravitating toward those at the moment.  Summer Starfruit was a color that, when it first came out, I thought was yucky and ugly.  It's funny how things grow on you.  I actually really enjoy playing with it now and have used it a lot!
This is going to be one of those cards that goes in a gift has a lot of height to it with that rosette!
Here's a list of all my supplies.....
Stamps: Word Play, The Open Sea
Paper: Lucky Limeade textured, White, Sent With Love DP, In-Color DP
Accessories: Lucky Limeade bakers twine, Score Tool, Scallop Circle die, Circle Cutter, Chevron EF
Thanks for taking a peek!

  1. What a great badge card! I love the sentiment overlaying the globe image. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.

  2. Terrific card! I love how you used the globe image from The Open Sea and stamped the sentimen over it!

  3. Fab creation Jenny! Love the way you've stamped the globe behind that sentiment - perfect combination! Thanks for playing along with the Friday Mashup this week!

  4. Fabulous graduation card with such an appropriate sentiment stamped over the globe image. Wonderful job with the color challenge as well. And I love the rosette, it is just beautiful!
