Halloween Glamper ~ HSS276, MTS200

Hello Stampers!  Today's post is for Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #276.  I also used Match the Sketch to help me along with my design.  They are celebrating their 200th sketch by letting us choose which sketch out of the 199 we'd like to use.  I chose #93.
I decided to go with my Glamper Greetings stamp and watercolor these Halloween-ish colors onto the cute little camper.  And how about that fun little jack-o-lantern in the window?  So very, very cute!  I must say that it was fun to color this one.
I trimmed it all out and layered it onto some black cardstock after I had stamped and embossed the moon and stars.
I added in some coordinating DSP and BOOM....done!  I love how this one came out!

Join us at HSS for our newest color challenge!  We're looking forward so making comments on all your fun cards!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Rusty jar of Fall Flowers ~ CCMC481, GDP110

Hey there stampers! Today begins another weekly challenge for Create with Connie and Mary. These are gorgeous fall colors, aren't they?
I also used the sketch from Global Design Project to help me complete my card for this week.

I'm such a huge fan of rustic.  I just love the way the jar looks like the ones that are painted with the chalk paint.  The wood textures designer paper makes the perfect backdrop to the rustic jar and fall flowers.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Two for One Sketch ~ CCMC480, Merry Monday 261, SIP121, GDP109

Hello stampers!  Another week has rolled around which means a brand new Create with Connie and Mary challenge.  This week is a sketch.  I actually created two cards for this sketch.  I first made this card, which sort of reminded me of an ornament, so I'm sharing it on Merry Monday's ornament challenge #261.  After I finished it I wasn't sure about the addition of the red and brown colors I added to the houses.  I tried to tie the colors into the sentiment and the card base.  I also colored basic rhinestones with my new Blends alcohol ink marker in red.  I love that the alcohol ink markers can do this!  After I finished this card I was determined that I needed to make a different card to complete my commitment to the challenge, but I'd need to to that the next day.  When I came back the next morning and saw this card laying on my desk I thought that it really wasn't so bad!  Sometimes all you need is a little time and space away from your creation to appreciate it!  In the end I actually enjoyed the way this came out!  HAHA!!!

It's not seen in the photo, but all the white space in the ornament is covered with wink of stella and super sparkly!  It's really pretty!

And now for card number two.  I looked around for some inspiration and found it at Stamp Ink Paper #121 Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge and Global Design Project #109.
I've been itching to use this big Old Olive and Black Plaid and I think it looks superb with the wood textures paper.  For the tic-tac-toe part I used twine, wood, and die cuts.
I put snow on the trees with my white gel pen and then thought there needed to be white on the wood medallion too.  I think I got a little carried away with the snowflakes and it looked weird, so I added piles of snow to the tops of the letters.  All in all I like the way it turned out.....minus a few snowflakes.

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Black Kitty ~ HSS275, PP366, TGIFC129

Hey, hey, hey!  It's Hand Stamped Sentiments inspiration challenge time!  I love inspiration challenges.  There are so many options!  I chose to go with the black cat theme and add a sunflower, pumpkin and incorporate the purple background color.  I think by adding the purple it says Halloween and not just fall.  I'm also adding my creation to the list at The Paper Players clean and simple spooky challenge #366.  I feel with all the open space this is pretty clean and simple.  I also used the sketch from TGIF challenges #129.

I stamped my kitty in Memento black ink.  It's not a true black and sort of looks muted, which is what I was going for.  I wanted to be able to see his whiskers, nose, eyes, and mouth when I stamped and embossed them.
His little bow tie is the kite bow from the set Swirly Bird.  I also used it as the stem on the pumpkin.  The pumpkin is the weird, oblong shape from Lovely Inside and Out.  I thought it resembled a pumpkin.
I layered the kitty and pumpkin on a cute sunflower cut from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies, Stitched Circles dies, and layering circles dies.

Thanks for taking a peek and I hope to see you play along with us at HSS!

Soft Season of Joy ~ CCMC479, ATSAM263, SUO185

Hi stampers!  Create with Connie and Mary has come up with a fabulous new color challenge this week!  Look at these colors -- How fun!
Now, these colors didn't say Christmas to me at first, but after doing a little searching for inspiration I thought they'd work nicely for a Christmas card.  And, I think I was right!
I just love this new die set {card front builder} that has these nice pine trees and the cute little deer.  It's one of my favorite things from the Holiday Catalog, which ties into the SUO Challenge #185 -- your favorite new product from the Holiday Catalog!
I'm also joining this card into the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #263 -- Holiday.

The stary sky die is actually from the {Hometown Greetings Edgelits} die set.  I like these little stars a bit better than the one that came with the card front dies.  However, the little moon comes from the card front die set.  I added a little bit of sparkle with silver glimmer paper.
This card turned out nice and simple.

I used the card front die and {Carols of Christmas} stamps for the inside of the card.

Come play along with our color challenge at the Create with Connie and Mary Facebook page!

Thanks for taking a peek and have a blessed day!

Cherry Daisy ~ CCMC478, SIP119

Hey friends!  It's time for another Create with Connie and Mary Challenge!  Join us over at the Create with Connie and Mary facebook page to share your card using this sketch.
I used the big daisy stamp and punch and added fussy cut leaves for the triple element from the sketch.  I wanted to keep it shabby feeling, so I went with the Burlap Background stamp as my backdrop for the focal flower.  I little bit of Old Olive chevron ribbon, so distressing, the sentiment and some sequins and my card was almost complete.  I used one of my favorite stamps to dress up my card base.... the distressed looking dot from Wood Words.  It fit in nicely with SIP #119, card makers choice.  I also adore the rich, deep color of Cherry Cobbler.

Autumn Rustic Floral~ HSS274, PP364

Hello friends and welcome to another Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge! It's a sketch this time. I also used inspiration from The Paper Players inspiration challenge #364.
