Hey everyone! It's Create With Connie and Mary's Thursday Challenge!!!! CCMC #350 is a playful color combo. I also used the sketch from The Challenge #29 to help me along.
I haven't really had a chance to play with this new wedding set called {Your Perfect Day}. The cake is really cool and so easy to color! I used my Stampin' Up markers to color the frosting and birds and outline the branches. A couple punched out flowers and pearls and boom. Done.
I had seen this picture on Pinterest, which was the inspiration for my polka dotted side panel. I love the way this looks! I know I'll be using this look again!
Make sure you check out the other CCMC designers blogs and leave them some love for their amazing creations!
Here's a list of my supplies.....
Stamps: Your Perfect Day
Ink: Calypso Coral, Night of Navy, Crushed Curry, Memento Black
Paper: Calypso Coral, Night of Navy, Crushed Curry, Gold Fancy Foil Vellum, White
Accessories: Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, Pearls, Doily, Owl Builder Punch (small heart)
Thanks for taking a peek!

ReplyDeleteThe wedding cake is the perfect stamp for your sketch and looks gorgeous in the colours. I love the vellum, a real touch of luxury on a wedding card. Creative use of the wreath stamp on your background too - lovely!
ReplyDeleteI didn't expect to see a wedding card in the gallery, but your card is gorgeous in these colors! The gold foil vellum dresses it up, and I like it over Night of Navy. Great use of these colors, and I would also use your idea to match a bride's wedding colors.
ReplyDeletewhat a fun use of the colors, this is great!
